We are not complaining for getting that mass masala movies bro... I think we want some recognition... Thats all... A lot of people from other parts of india thinks.. only the collection matters... So in that case we never got that recognition.... I am not talking about the actors, reviewers, cinephiles.... The common people around other parts of our country dont know what malayalam movies are... So that recognition we want.... For getting that recognition... Mass masala movies helped... Everyone knows... Rocky bhai... Bahubali... Kattappa... RRR... rolex... So thats the only case brother... Nothing more....❤ 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 EDIT : WHAT I REALLY SAID... 👇👇👇👇 I respect the views my fellow malayalees said... My intention was not to offend u guys .. i said the real fact ... The reason why some malayalees wanted movies with a mass appeal... Thats all... Let me tell u what i really meant... U guys failed in understanding that.... Our actors mohanlal and mammootty are too good... Still people in india dont know their movie .. never noticed them.... Its what i was mentioning.... Nothing to do with the recognition if we are fine in our works...but still we are all indians .. we are divided by cultural differences, language and all... So we should unite everyone through cinema.... We should pass our vibe,vission everything... Guys... The applauds the film makers in malayalam gets is very less.... We should distribute our movies.... I am not asking we need a big budget masala movie..... We should distribute our movies.... How many of u have seen the movie " EXIT" ???? i dont think everyone in kerala watched that... Thats the problem what i was addressing... We want to distribute our mobies to get recognition.... Its not for me or for u guys... Its for the people who behind all these effort.... Vyshakh in exit done a fabulous job ... Does anyone noticed that...??? Nop... So he deserves our love right... He deserves more attention right... So we have to distribute our movies in a proper way ....❤ Thats all.......

Please 🙏 don't make commercial films. Once you make commercial films, there is no going back. People will start appreciating commercial films & they won't appreciate these type of films. Bengaly film industry used to make good art films & they went into commercial films. Now Bengaly films are no longer world class.

The team asked for permission to the Tamilnadu forest department to shoot the film inside the original Guna cave but the permission was not given as it involves too much risk so the permission was granted only to shoot at the entrance of the cave and the permission to climb down the cave for up to a few feet were only given to take the pictures to create a replica. Now this cave in Kodaikanal has been completely restricted all the tourists will be stopped a few meters away from the original Guna cave (where the song in Guna movie was shot in 1991). It was open to the public till 2007 I think but not sure. My uncle climbed down into the cave around 1994 and told us it's very dark and dangerous and we couldn't predict where there would be pits as the floor of the cave will be covered by leaves..

Kodaikanal police take special interest in KL registration vehicles. Tamil people are so nice and humble, can't say the same about their police.

@@jakal1591 I am from Kerala and I know for a fact that there are many very nice policemen in Tamilnadu. I have personally came across a few very helpful ones, so please don't generalise. I used to stay in Bangalore and I travelled quite frequently on my bike to Thrissur, KL during night those days. There were several instances TN police helped me, suggested better routes, cautioned me etc.

Even Ooty police is not different we had some bad experience

Great movie! But won’t work for an outsider I guess, coz of the dialogues, a lot were there, me and my friends from K’taka watched it together and they were sleeping half way through and I personally felt that the subtitles didn’t match the standard.

@@shamhi_thewatcher nah manjummel worked mostly in Kerala and Tn. It worked in TN cause half of the dialogues are in tamil + location+ guna movie reference and the way the placed the song. Not every movie gonna do it. This one gotta a reason that's all. If a movie really wanna get high reach budget and marketing is necessary.
