The best Video I have seen, we have just come back from Jamaica from a family holiday trip, my husband surprised me for two days out of the two weeks that we were out there for our 9th year anniversary at EOB and Ohhhh my goodness they did not disappoint.. we were beyond happy with the service food and everything else in just the two days we have decided we will be going back next year for our 10th Year and cannot wait as it will be for 2 weeks instead, its beyond paradise there.. Loved the way you described it..:)

Just wow !! The staff the restaurants the food is exceptional I can't recommend this hotel enough massive shout out to 2 special staff who went above and beyond !!! Cavanne in chez isabella wow !! He couldn't do enough for us and ashay part of the pool entertainment staff again out standing service

I’ve stayed at The Secrets Montego Bay and I really had fun the food was a bummer outside of the poolside restaurant at Breathless and the Hibachi place on the property outside of that I had fun O yea a fresh coconut with coconut rum will make the days majestic 😂😂😂😂😎

Hello Nia! Thanks for such an incredibly detailed review. My wife and I have an upcoming trip and you have us beyond excited now!!! We are a bit near to the “all inclusive resort” experience so please pardon my naive question. Are there certain things that aren’t included that we should be aware of ahead of time (like food, drinks etc)? Btw we also purchased the the Excellence club membership

Thanks so much!! All food and drinks are included. Since you upgraded to excellence club, you will also get a free hydrotherapy treatment at the spa but any other treatment you get, for example a massage will not be included. Also as expected, items in the gift shop are charged separately.

Yes I would say it’s pretty laid back overall but there are lots of entertainment options. The food is really good though! Unfortunately I haven’t been to breathless so not able to compare, it was completely booked out when I tried to go.

Thank you so much for this review! I have a Excellence Club room for my stay in September! This video had me so excited! Is it hard to get a golf cart to take you to the main area of the hotel? Does having a Excellence Club room automatically give you access to the Excellence club extras or do you have to sign up?

You’re so welcome!! The golf cart was super fast for us..the hotel wasn’t busy when we visited though so that could have played a role. Also you will automatically get access to the excellence club extras. Only thing you have to do is make reservations for certain thing like the spa.

I initially was going to book a Villa for myself and friends for our Girls trip, but after seeing this video I'm thinking this may be the easier route. Luxury plus several amenities to choose from. Hey, so sorry for just responding. There is definitely less to worry about at an all inclusive, drinks and food are constant throughout the day so it usually makes the vibe better for a girls trip. If you are planning to host a party with decor etc, then I would recommend a private villa.

Such a great video! I must ask, did you do any excursions? Or do you think the resort was sufficient enough in the amount of activities/entertainment provided? Also if you tipped (I know this is more of an "American" habit lol), how often would you tip?

Thank you!! This was a short trip for us so we didn’t do any excursions & resort was sufficient but I always recommend at least 1 tour, especially for a longer trip. Montego Bay is close by, check out Chukka Tours, they have lots of options. Regarding tips, yes we definitely tipped, mostly at breakfast and dinner & to the bellman carrying the luggage. Hope that helps! 😊

Thank you!!!! 😊 yes they had music & different live shows at night. The beach was beautiful but I definitely preferred the excellence club beach. It was much larger and had more seating & bar areas

Hey Jeremy! The Excellence club rooms are definitely the farthest away from the main guest areas. The beach and lounge areas for excellence club members are also very quiet and relaxing.

Hey, sorry for just responding. I would recommend excellence over moon palace for a 50th birthday. But honestly it all depends on what you like, if you prefer relaxation/luxury then it’s excellence. If you prefer lots of activities/party vibe then it’s moon palace.

I was going to upgrade to the club option but it looks like the lounge beach chairs have plants in front of them so you do not have direct view to the beach? So if my husband is laying down he cannot see my swimming? Am I wrong? Feels weird

Hey! In my opinion it’s good for both groups actually. The property is huge so there are areas, specifically excellence club areas that are more quiet however areas like the main pool are very active and fun..Always music and activities going on. I hope that helped 😊

It was nice to have it but I will say it was very small, so if you want to swim, I would recommend the swim out suites (they had bigger pools) or just using the main pools
