Ma'am giffen goods me bread ki price increase ho rahi hai or demand bhi badh rhi hai kyoki meat ke price badh rhe hai I agree but ye chiz nhi hogi agar hum price of related goods are constant wale assumption ko man le to. Please reply on my comment.

@7:42, you said that the demand for status symbol goods will increase if their prices rise, but that's not the case. The demand for such goods will remain constant, which is still an exception to the law of demand.

actually she is right compare two metals like plat and gold there is 10 person 5 of them bought gold and 5 of them bought plat assume prices are same for both in start they are using these for status symbol but if plat prices increase than some of them want to buy more costlier because of symbol so buyer of increase honge hi and demand increase hogi hi.

Assume that the price of bread increases , so the purchasing power of the consumer will go down ,and he'll buy more of it (because , it necessary for food and has few substitues and therefore , he can't buy much superior goods as before)...and when the price falls , consumer's purchasing power rises and he'll buy less of it ( so that he could buy more of superior goods)
