I briefly owned an AXL Badwater LP-type and it was decent but very heavy. Good pickups and played ok. I paid about €150 for it and I think I ended up selling it for even less.
I have an AXL badwater lp jr type. Single p90. I put in new pots, new capacitor, new tuners, and it plays and sounds great. I absolutely love that guitar.
The overall build of the guitar is why I like it so much. Nice neck, good weight, the pickup sounds great. Pots dont change the sound, I just put better ones in. I put the same value capacitor in, just a better quality.
@@joebodynobody764 was just having fun of you, but yeah it is said that the diffrent between good and bad guitars is attention to details, and if it is now for you a good guitar that's what's matter ;)
compensated is when the higher strings sits on less part of the nut adding a little bit of scale, but here seems that it will just make parasite noises on it ( like when a nut slot has a bad angle)
