Excerpts from the 2022 New Year Celebration at Sandema 

Every year, the Paramount Chief of the Bulsa Traditional Area leads his subjects in thanking God and the ancestors for ushering them into another year successfully.
Chiefs, religious leaders and their congregants are always in attendance to offer prayers for a blissful New year. All denominations are always present at the event, with drumming and dancing to mark the event.
