No, the PM is right. It would take an investigation to find out whether war crimes have been committed. But it must be done. He knows that if Singapore is attacked in a similar manner and the terrorists are using human shield, it would be hard to defend Singapore.

Israel only receiving what God has given them promised to Abraham. Condemning their occupation of Canaan lands is like saying God should not honor His covenant with them. Also there is no word "Palestinian" before Ottoman occupation of the land, only the Romans invented it and therefore there is no Palestine before and during King David reigns in Israel. Like Golda Meir has said " there is no Palestinians in the first place".

In the midst of the war now, there are millions of people going on strike globally but innocent Palestinians lives continue to be lost. I agree that unity is strength and little actions goes a long way and I have lots of respect for people who goes out of the way to condemn the actions. However, this is a matter that only leaders around the world can put a stop on and unfortunately, the voices of ordinary citizens like you and me continues to be a mere opinion. So why don't we channel our focus and energy on things that we may have more control of, like spreading love and helping the people around us and within the community? Likewise, for this debate, while i recognize that Pritam addresses a group of Singaporeans emotional distress on the situation, it does not favor Singapore from a political standpoint. So why not focus on how the lives of Singaporeans and especially those who are struggling can be improve?

Israel is guilty of oppressing Palestine rights to self-determination and freedom, but it would be extremely difficult to say that before Oct 7, Israel has been systematically butchering civilians.
