Hello Everyone!
Here another video from me. A video about my exchange year! Well, not so much about what I did and stuff, but more some tips and stuff for you guys that want to go on exchange!
I plan on making videos more this year, since I'm home and taking another gap year. I'll be working, but I'll also have way more time on my hands! If you have any ideas for videos you'd like to see, do let me know :)

Iris as a former host dad I appreciate the recognition you gave to host families in your video. However the rewards of hosting an exchange student as a guest are to numerous to mention. It truly is a unique opportunity to share first hand someone from another country in your own home and learn about their culture and traditions. It is so rewarding to watch in wonder, and sometimes amusement, to see them experience and adjust to real American life. Not to mention grow and mature as a person over the course of a year. The downside of being a host parent is having to say goodbye!

Jou energie is echt zo chill. Zo enthousiast en blij. Fijn dat je het zo leuk had. Ik ga misschien volgend jaar maar me ouders zijn gescheiden en me moeder wilt niet mee betalen 😭. Maar misschien betaald mijn opa mee het lijkt me echt leuk

Wow, wonderful video and very informative. As host parents to 4 from 4 different countries I chuckled at how wise you were on the advice as to pros and cons. Our students, or kids for 10 months would agree with everything you said I expect--especially the transportation. You are also correct, the host family learns so much about different cultures and we enjoy it. We have been fortunate to have great kids like you clearly are, I am sure you host family misses you and appreciates you kind words about them. Cheers!

Thanks a lot. ..now my daughter wants to be a exchange student. ..she loves this video. ..and have to say we've been to AMSTERDAM a lot. ..I love Holland. .guess it's about 20k for the exchange?

Hi, I just want to ask. How was it with your school in Holland ? Did you have to repeat a grade or you you've just continued and gone to the next, higher grade ? Did you have any problems with that? And in the US, if you don't understand in lessons for example biology, does the teacher helps you or not? Thank you for your response.
