@@yeahwhathesaid8498 They'd tell the tribe and nobody would believe them, saying they've never heard of green demons and all demons are only black or red
I will always say this: Shrek is such a huge thing because of that meme. Ever since that video came out, Shrek has been everywhere with no end in sight... It's never ogre
@@alexgomez6723 obviously but not on the grand scale that it is now. It was already incredibly popular but it was nowhere near on the same level of popularity that it is now due to the excessive meme and internet fodder associated with it that started with that beautiful abomination
Yknow i bet there is a forgotten story of a wizard who was really a time traveler who got called a witch, and in a panic just put this shit on a stone wall and said some bullshit about the "shrek, maker of wreck"
Poor visualisation Great sound You see animation first, which is cringe level poor quality But it goes with the sound so good You notice the memeability You contemplate ways of domianting ignorant tribes Full circle
There is a kind of series of ups and down that follows the quality of something. It goes: Bad, good, trying too hard and becomes bad, absurd until it becomes good again, so absurd it loses it’s good will and becomes bad again, so transcendent it becomes good but only to a few loyalists, transcendent beyond good and bad
I think people just overthink/give too much shit for it. I can imagine any other mega pop figures doing weirder. I just like to appreciate for what it is. Even if it is shitty, it's freakin Shrek at a dubstep festival lmao. It's dope as shit
Very impressed the DJ was able to animate this all live on top of mixing all that audio and syncing it to the corny visuals. Fr tho sounds like a robot sharting.
I agree it’s whack af. Idk how people can listen to this let alone go to a sweaty concert for 3 hours. I can listen to about 30 seconds of this before I get bored. It’s just random synth patches playing single notes in a basic rhythm.
@@ChadAV69the vast majority is not crazy heavy like that, you get some really good variety to be honest. Like check out Zombie, excision’s cover with Illenium. Or Hollow by Kai Wachi, Black Ice by Rezz/Subtronics. If you want a huge variety look into the Lost Lands Lineup for 2023, color bass to drum n bass to riddim to trap, it has it all
@@ChadAV69 The answer is always drugs. I hate EDM with a passion but if I was rolling on MDMA out of my mind I'm sure I'd just enjoy the vibrations. Although yeah when the beat dropped I thought the whole thing was ruined.
@@ChadAV69 If thats what you think, then dont bother watching EDM vids. you clearly lack the musical knowledge to appreciate the sound design. There is absolutely nothing random about it. A basic tuturial on these sounds would teach you that.
this is something your weird classmate who wears headphones around his neck and has a Chromebook wallpaper ripped from a youtube thumbnail would show you
I have come back to this video every day for the past few days. Part of what i love about it is that Shrek is animated at the start as if he was in sfm with the somewhat stilted animation that transitions once the beat drop happens. Its so funny.
Well... clearly they considered the "shrek" as a god of thunder and electrical shortages, and performed mass rituals involving psychedelic substances and cheer to prevent him from vomiting upon the earth and taking your eyes
That’s you’re opinion totally understand! My parents can’t stand this type of music but I personally enjoy it! Mostly because the energy it gives off and the unknown/random things that occur with this type of music!
Shrekstreme rave visuals: Because nothing says "peak rave culture" like Shrek morphing into a demon over a bass drop. If this doesn’t scream millennial anxiety, I don’t know what does. Party like it's the apocalypse!
