He should go to Japan - many train enthusiasts there. I've seen so many people photograph trains during my short visit there!

I have to say, before I watched this video I never really thought about having dinner in a New York Central diner car along the water level route, but I'm now convinced that it would be the pinnacle of my existence. Whooo Hoooo!

the reason for the two baggage cars is because the lake shore limited has 2 sections. the baggage car on the head end is the baggage car that goes to Boston on 448/449 and the one on the rear is for the NY section.. in Albany where the 2 sections are connected as one train the baggage is emptied from the front baggage car and placed onboard the rear baggage car for the rest of the trip to Chicago. the front head end baggage car serves as a DH to chicago and back or its used as extra if ever needed.
