Nice video ! Man, I really miss flying into those airports. The fun part in SLU was that our ground staff would wait until the aircraft touched down and passed the office (buildings on left) before heading to the ramp as the aircraft had to backtrack, so sometimes we would surprise them when flying the Dash 8-100 by landing (after the threshold), stopping and exiting the runway on the first taxiway C by the 1000' marks. Since we didn't pass the tower or offices, they sat happily inside until we called on radio "Hey guys, we are on the ramp. Where are you ?" The commotion as they rushed out saying "What ? They're here ??" was hilarious :D

Flew there from BGI. Stayed on Sandals cliff top across the bay spotting aircraft and cruise ships. Great weather, overrated resort. Castries for inter island & locals, UVF, further south for oceanic air traffic. Love your Caribbean content.

I was there in 2006. Toured the entire island on a rented car. Its a very forested island with tons of bread fruit trees . It is so abundant in natural resources but i wonder if its all owned by the superrich landowners.

I have seen only one video from a cam that was fixed out side of a plane ..why there are no videos from cams fixed on wings Tails or On cockpit

I wouldn't say 5,500' is a short runway for an ATR-42. They are supposed to be able to land in 3,900' with no head wind.

It is a 6200 ft runway. Short for a 747...not an ATR.
