So they've spent all this time and money manufacturing mowers and electric equipment that only California companies are forced to buy, but they have yet to give us something to compete with the 9010. Heck the BR800 is the same price but maybe 60% of the power? Thats why im probably switching to Echo or Redmax next year. They at least have tgeir priorities straight.
Dang,No single sided trimmer. Echo will come out with one though, I just don't want to have two different battery platforms, but If I must then so be it.
Battery electric versions of anything are always more expensive and they don't have the run time and too much downtime. Not to mention they are not feasible in remote areas nowhere near electricity.
Those walk-behind mowers with the Kohler engines are a joke. They're equipped with the Kohler HD775, which is extremely loud, much louder than a Honda. I bought what Husqvarna called a semi-commercial mower with that engine. Started it for the first time, shut if off after about 10 seconds and listed it for sale without ever cutting a blade of grass with it. LOUD...
Ill stick with gas tools, fill em up go back to work, its gonna be interesting to see how a contractor is going to be able to get their work done and then have to charge up every night.
