This is exactly why the Bucks brought him in. The best closer in the league paired with the most consistently dominant player in the league. Scary combo.
-June Jordan (1936-2002) “poetry is never about dominance. Poetry is powerful but it cannot even aspire to dominate anyone. It means making a connection.” “La poesía nunca se trata de dominación. La poesía es poderosa pero ni siquiera puede aspirar a dominar a nadie. Significa hacer una conexión”.
The win over the Celtics wasnt that great. The Bucks had 3 days off while they sat at home! Meanwhile, The night before, the Celtics played the team with the 2nd best record which went into overtime. They then got a 20 hour break as they travelled from Boston to Wisconsin. Game was over in the first quarter and the Cs needed a break.
@@thicccorgi6187lmao this was a b2b game aswell and dame and Gianni’s still showed up and dame got the game winner on a good healthy kings team without Middleton and crowder either that’s how you play on a b2b game cry harder soft Celtics fans
@@thicccorgi6187ummm as good as the Celtics are losing a b2b is an excuse. They literally won all b2b (I believed so) this season until that match at Milwaukee.
"I think the second night of a back to back, our opportunity to make excuses, say we tired, you know they're a tough team, they played fast, unpredictable... We showed our resilience, our toughness" -Damian Lillard Remember fans: Just because you are tired, played a back to back or went into overtime does not excuse you from giving up.
As a Celtics fan, this is the mentality I wish they showed more often. Especially recently against the Bucks. Yeah you're tired, and it was on a back to back in OT with Minnesota, BUT this game means just as much as the next game. You are PROfessional athletes that dedicate your lives to a game.(Except Ben Simmons lol jk). You can be tired, sore, nothing wrong with it at all. But don't use it as an excuse on why you showed a lack of effort. You adapt the mentality, your body will follow. With all that being said.. Celtics in 6 ☘️
@@davidortiz2026 You have to beat the teams in front of you & in a long season you'll definitely have bad games. The point for the Celtics was that they came up against a contender & didn't compete. It was the same argument levelled at the bucks lack of defensive intensity, slow starts etc. At least for a couple of nights they showed a level of fight. Now you could say missing FT down the stretch helped but I think the story was them not giving up when they could have done🤷🏿♂️
these last few games has been the intensity/effort we needed from the bucks and thank Yeah that Giannis made that statement because since he made that statement they’ve been playing different and I love it edit: and I love to see that Giannis is taking the challenge of defending the best player on the opposite team when is crunched on because the bucks will need that in the playoffs Also respect to sabonus, a guy who got ridiculed his whole career for his defense taken on the challenge of guarding Giannis and the same to De’Aaron Fox for taking on the challenge of defending game
@@gilsoftcoder2387 If you re an 88% shooter you do miss...... sometimes you miss several in a row. That is just the statistics of the game. It rare but it is not that rare I watched Joe Dumars miss after a streak of 56 made free throws. your misses can come in streaks too no matter how good you are
I’m shocked they both (Fox & Monk) aren’t shooting 89 90% from the line. Not that that’s just normal percentages but you’ve got to capitalize as the two guards who aren’t pretty much the only consistent scoring on the team
Dame is arguably the most clutch player in the league. Just go look at his Rookie highlights and how consistent he has been with the Trailblazers despite his team not being up to par. All Dame needed was a contending team.
Dame def my favorite player in the league but we gotta show love to Brooke Lopez cause he definitely came in clutch. Dude has ice in his veins! Ginnis is the best doing it right now imo. They deserved this win for sure. Good game on both ends.
Yeah I think he was just in shock, he just faces the opposite side of the camera. On a different angle you can see him put his hands on his head as the shot goes down and then by the time this angle zooms out to see him he’s kinda just smiling and shaking his head.
@@limited6143 no it’s a 15 game win streak as in beating the same team over and over again over the years. A win streak against a single team if you know what I mean.
I think Dame needed that. It is a defining moment for Dame with the Milwaukee Bucks team, bringing even closer him and his teamates. Now they are bonded somehow. Those kind of plays are decisive for every player or a team. And boy oh boy ..what a bucket...!!!
HELLA GAME!! I was at the game 12 rows up behind Sacramento's bench and Monk was slapping hands hard as hell with his whole teammates during the time out when he made the short jumper to take a 4 pt lead with 33.9 left..Then he misses both free throws with 18.4 left Anyways the looks on all their faces when Dame hit the game winner with no time left GO BUCKS!

Seeing this as a lillard Portland fan, I’m happy he still does the Dame time celebration. He’s truly a great player and will take bucks to the promised land for a few years. Bucks dynasty starting
They choked, missing 3 FTs in final 25 seconds and not able to defend Lopez for a wide open corner 3 and then give Dame too much space for that long 3 to win the game
That was something special Dame making that three pointer. When I saw that basket made, I saw the best present gift wrapped for Milwaukee. Great finish men. Now go get a couple days rest.
Celtics vs clippers or nuggets would be better but yea sure, also i dont think that okc gets to the finals not this year theres levels come playoff time players like jokic shine the best
@@gungij2728 I dont want to put any reliance on Clippers tbh. Yeah theyre doing pretty good right now with all their guy healthy but I doubt all will be therr come playoff time.
When it is pressure time it is Dame Time!! Damian Lillard is the one of the best players in clutch situations ever!! Here's hoping he finally gets that championship!!
Lillard one of the coldest clutch shooters ever. It's like he gets a boost when it's 5 seconds or less. He basically got a real life 2KBadge that activates in the clutch moments. Dude is absolutely fearless when it comes to taking these shots
When it was 18 seconds left to play, +4 and ball for Kings, I paused and checked the video date once more to see whether I haven't clicked some old video and it's really the game Bucks won :D
I'm so glad I didn't bet on this one. I saw it in my list of bets and took it out. I was thinking it could go either way but holy shit that ending would've given me a heart attack. I was going to bet on the Buck too but damn. Damian the clutch master.
The best thg to happen for the bucks is cuzzo, real player and talent idk what you say dude in my top 10 no doubt under pressure time and time dude has deliver, the trail blazers never give him the rite ppl to win, imagine dude on lakers or suns or warriors
