Exciting Update on our OFF GRID HOME | Off Grid Family in Bulgaria

8 months ago, our family of three bought a plot of land over in Bulgaria. Complete with derelict house, 3 barns and just under 2 acres of land, we were ready to make the big move from the UK this month.
However, it hasn't gone quite to plan.. We're BIG believers in things happening for a reason. Ready for the plot twist?
We're Phil and Kayleigh, a husband and wife living in rural Bulgaria with our two children, Alex and Ember. It's always been our dream to live a more self-sustainable life off grid. So, we've sold all our belongings, escaped the rental rat race and bought a plot of land. Complete with a derelict house and 3 barns, we hope to create our new life mortgage free. We've faced lots of hurdles already, so hang on tight as we show you highs and lows of moving abroad and starting again.

So good to see your channel, my fiancee and I bought land in Banya 25 mins from sunny Beach and planned to be living there last year, just like yourselves we ended up with a new baby so have had to put our move off until May 2023, we will be doing a channel and will send you details once we are sorted. Wow! So many congratulations to you guys!!! So happy for you 👍 I'm sure a few videos ago I told you to keep it in your pants!!! Hahaha- might make things seem harder at times out here- but the life you'll give your little ones is worth it! If you guys need anything BG side, please don't hesitate to ask. We had our baby here, so happy to share any advice we can share. On a different note- earthship is the way forward....I love that it's all mathematical...I'm a secret nerd 🤓 I wish you all the best in the coming weeks and we have a stock load of clothes and wooden toys to pass on 🤘 Really lovely to see your update and congratulations again, from all of us here

Do not look for Houses , look for the nature you prefer to be around. If it is by the mountains, by the forest or by the sea, by the climate, by other Brits . You can get house everywhere after.

Thanks so much Ben! Crazy but there's way more to the bales than I thought, for building anyway. I don't think any of ours would have made the cut. But we still have loads more which we'll use in the garden now.
