I thought i was the only one with this problem! I was taught to write in a formal way when it came to work or business but I found everyone using '!s' and I found myself having to put them here and there so I can come off friendly and not off putting. I only really like using them when I'm just joking with a friend but using it at work just seems so weird.

Yeah, nerd alert could have been better though. They needed people who actually knew about tech. Studying American Lit and Culture doesn't make you a good source for tech news.

She did talk about tech and science though. The show was generally about geek/nerd culture. And is the show ending???

@@GattlingCombo she did talk about it. I just thought she was always underqualified to talk about the topic. She seemed enthusiastic yet not as informed as a nerd host should be. Then I looked up her credentials and was like...oh. That's why.

I have a typewriter from the 1940's, and it doesn't even have an exclamation point key. You have to hit the apostrophe, then backspace, then period.

Kiiim I don't think you're grouchy! I usually use 1 exclamation mark though. Is that still too many?
