We are proud to debut a new clip for the next episode of 'The Boys' featuring Sister Sage and Firecracker joining together as the new kids of the Seven.
I'd say those odds became like 99% after Firecracker used the word "uppity." Like, if Sage wasn't planning for her to die originally, she sure as fuck is now...
Got a feeling homelander is gonna call black noir II to a meeting and say "noir take off that mask" and laser his tongue out because he got sick of him yapping.
Lol, I've seen multiple comments saying this or something similar. I don't think he's annoyed HL at all this season. Seems to be good at taking orders without questions, which HL appreciated about Noir 1.
I feel like Noir 2 will have the exact same fate as Noir 1. Just for the giggles. Maybe its going to be a running gag for HL getting new Noirs and killing them off.
Calling her uppity FOLLOWED by one of the good ones...did she think they were going to have a slumber party and braid each other's hair after that glaring display of racism? So disappointing that some are saying it's not that bad 😒
@@JonO387 "one of the good ones," is something said to black people or any minority group who fits into a narrow racist idea of what a black or minority person should be. It boils down to "knowing your place," and being useful and inoffensive to those in power. Imagine a woman said "it's ok for my man to cheat because I know my place is beneath him," and a man's response being "Finally a woman who's not a complete moron." Basically what firecracker said to sage here.
@@JonO387 wow. If you didn’t see the racism, you my guy are part of the problem. The show runners wrote her character to be racist. I don’t think you all realize you’re self snitching with these questions.
Sister Sage is amazingly competent, like Stan Edgar. But she’s too much of a mastermind for Homelander’s fragile ego, who is going insane, I don’t see her doing well in the long term. Basically what happens when a crazy boss hires a capable manager.
Yeah but she called that when HL recruited her. She's clearly taking HLs temper into account, it's just a question if the perfect plan can stand up to limitless strength
Plus I’m sure that supe girl from gen v that can get in peoples head and control them shows at the 7 tower in the trailer and A train will be in real trouble, plus also the Deep and that bald CEO lady sense they covered up queen Maeve is alive
There seems to be something more with her and A train. I just wonder when she does find out that A train betrayed them if she doesn't already know or suspect if she will try to have him killed or start working with him. I dont see her being a good guy cause she makes a good villain but there just seems to be more to her and A trains relationship.
Yep but most of the next two seasons was really humbling to Deep. I hate what he did to Starlight and in the real world... I hope he would be fired with at least 6 months jail time. In fiction... he lost his credibility, got shamed, ate his friend Timothy, a pawn for a cult, and simps hard for Homelander just to stay alive. People are gray... Not all good or bad. Sometimes our actions when destroying a person to get what we want makes us evil but we are also at our worst in self preservation. He had his version of karma biting him hard on the arse.
juneteenth didnt even free the slaves, why do we celebrate it? even the north still had a bunch of slaves until the 13th amendment (which btw, didnt completely outlaw slavery, the government can still enslave you, they just gotta give you due process first).
1:24 If Sage wasn't originally planning for an endgame that involved Firecracker dying, I imagine she quickly decided to throw her death into the mix at about this exact moment...
There was a leak saying that someone was going to expose someone else for having had an abortion in the past, so im thinking Firecracker is going to expose Starlight for having had one.
If you mean if they lost it now then probably for a lot of them If they were born without powers then no, theyd be all happy or at least in a somewhat better situation. Homelander especially would have been adopted by a good family and become a farmer or writer or something.
I think it’s the opposite. Without their powers, they would be much happier. A-Train wouldn’t become a celebrity, sure. But he also would have a good relationship with his brother and not have to constantly worry about getting dropped off the team. Deep wouldn’t have to live the entire life knowing what fish and marine mammals think. He wouldn’t have been mocked for his gills. Sister Sage wouldn’t be so miserable because of her intellect. Firecracker wouldn’t have joined the pageants and might have lived a normal life.
@@Huh-d2mI thinks is because of the status, lets see: -A train: Traitor, dying -The Deep: Dumb goon, so either dying or staying alive by luck -Ashley: Pet, Sadly Dying -Sister Sage: Mastermind, getting a plan to beat HL or dying in the long term -Homelander: Dying at the end of the show -Firecracker: So here she stays as a pawn that serves her purpouse of destroy the opposition (SL) and then be used as a martyr of sort.
He has been ignored in these past 3 episodes and now this. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts to come up with his own plan for revenge just like Firecracker and end up being a big role for the final season
“One of the good ones” Firecracker is supposed to be Annie’s age, meaning she was born in the mid to late 90s, why the fuck is she talking like she was born in 56’
I love everything about this character. I was absolutely amazed by her plan to kill homelander fans and pin it on starlighters. I instantely realized when Homelander called them martyr and still had my jaw fall the entire scene. Plus, although she hates it, she looks majestic in this hero suit. As much as I hate it, I got to hand it to Homelander that the suit really suits her.
sage: we are the 7. we have to look out for each other If fire cracker actually believes that. then that shows how gullable or needy she is when it comes to having friends. Which adds up considering his crew used to be just her crazy fan splinter
She seems really petty but at the same time she seems to know how to manipulate people herself. Not for anything she was an alt-right leader or something.
@@Koraxus Oh I know. That s why this scene is so ironic. Fire cracker knows how to move the masses but when it comes to power figures like homelander or sister sage. Fire cracker herself acts like a sheep a follower LOL
Sister Sage reminds me of a character from a book who was cursed/blessed to have a random amount of intelligence everyday and the smarter they were the crueler and more logical they became but on days they were dumber they were happier and thus kinder.
Man idk what Sister Sages plan is, but i can only assume she wants a massive hero revolt, to have them all demonised and killed by the end. She probably blames and despises Vought and Compound V for making her life a living hell, and wants to do away with all of it. Playing that long game, make everyone hate superheroes and want them dead, no more supes, no more people in her situation.
That'd be interesting, since that'd basically lead to exactly what Butcher wants in the comics. I wonder if they'd be pushing some of Butcher's more villainous inclinations in the comics over to her plan instead.
Kinda makes sense that she had to dumb herself down just to hook up with the deep, but like some others here I kinda feel bad for the guy a little bit. Though their could still be hope as even though her smart self dislikes the deep, her dumb self may still like him in a friends with benefits way, but that's speculation though.
@@who-ve2ssThere are at least 100k black people, who are hilariously more intelligent and successful than you will ever be. You cling to this racist superiority complex, rather than accepting that you are not inherently a better lifeform. Which is sad, because ultimately, we are all humans with parts to play on this Earth. Why let yours be a bad one?
Sage’s reaction to The Deep is exactly what I thought would happen this week. She wouldn’t remember what she did with him or just be that heavily in denial.
he wasnt manipulated, why tf do u think she lobotomized herself? she wanted to just enjoy some junk food, trash tv, and sex with a guy she would normally find vile (if not for the lobotomy)
because its garbage writing that had no setup. the only racism firecracker has shown was to frenchie, and that was more humorous racism. but no, lets randomly make her say some shit like that for no reason ig, that makes sense.
@@YSleepish only if you have never spent time about polite racists. I still hear things like this or that I am articulate. They think it’s a compliment
@@YSleepishunfortunately, as a black man, there have been multiple times in my life when someone I thought I knew has said something similar to me. So might have came out of nowhere to you, but sounds about whyte to me.
Deep is so underrated. Bro makes me crack up whenever on screen. We all know Starr has done an amazing job but Chace deserves more credit. Probably my fav character
@@ejosjek52.87 Could be, but I think Sister Sage will want something to break Starlight supporters to turn them against her. And what's worst then knowing your hero killed an innocent person with seemingly no remorse.
lol A train saves mothers milk from a heart attack & takes him to to the hospital then kids see him and finally call him a hero which he feels happy about, He then goes to save Starlight from the Deep. The end of his story is Him asking ashley to leave with him but she stays and takes confound V
This show is great but also stupid. I don't feel at all immersed there's so much fucking plot armor all over the place. It's just a caricature of the first couple seasons.
I don't know. It fits her character as she is in the radical right activist, and it is clear that from a historical and political standpoint, a strong majority of the far right discriminate by race. Maybe that jab was a bit extreme, but they definitely use sub textual racism. For example, complementing a black man for his behavior, making the insinuation that black people are generally uneducated.
All the right wingers are like "the writing has gotten sloppy" meanwhile Sage pretends she didn't notice the "you're one of the good ones" comment, which is exactly how a smart person would act after already previously pointing out racist jabs. To have her react to this one would actually have been Disney writing, and the writers here smartly avoided that the writing is still good, sorry
Well she doesn’t even like being called sister sage let alone being called the smartest woman. because she doesn’t like her race or her gender being the forefront to her
Sage did that just to find Deep attracted to her, being the biggest idiot... but so she could make an intimate connection with someone who can understand her. Because of her power... which doesn't make her happy. It is very complex and scary!!!
That’s why I was afraid of homelander actually speaking about his insecurities with her. He sees her in his level and lets her say whatever she wants to him. If they become best friends that WOULDNT be good for anyone
@jgaffney567 with a person who is as strong as Homelander (dude is Superman, accept it) and with the world's resources at his disposal, there's no place you can go without him finding out and if he feels you have something over him or you insulted him, he is going to kill you. That's why Maeve had to fake her death and completely disappear, if Homelander knew Maeve was still alive, he would stop at nothing to find her and kill both her and her gf and with Vought's resources and government connections, he would find her within 24 hours. That offer wasn't truly an offer
Sage is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Hoping she’s not as terrible as she appears and her and deep live happily ever after. Not gonna happen though.
Stuff breaks everywhere. X or IG or whatever social media platform first usually. Then it trickles down to the youtube channels. IMDB message boards were a gold mine now it’s hard to find any one credible source…
I think Sage has an ulterior plan in place. She can't be that smart and think a plan this dumb can work long term. This is all so much short term gain that it has to collapse in on itself... Or at least that is the hope I always have for humanity until I check my Facebook, ugh.
I would hate to be in a relationship with sister sage Not only she rejected you But the only way you can have a nice vibe and chill time with her is if you snuggle her brain 💀 I would hate her power Being so smart that you have to Gawn out your eye and brain to have a chill relaxing day
my theory is shes so smart because her brain has some sort of regeneration factor that overloads her brain but she has to do a lobotomy to chill out that's what we saw in 3
Remember that she is smarter than Stan Edger and Stan had Homelander in his control so these first 5 or so episodes are all fake intentions of her ‘wanting to stay on the low’ or her not wanting to join Homelander at first… all of it has been a lie
the way she put down the deep reminds me of a girl i know. she would hit me up whenever she felt lonely and we would hang out once or twice, then she didn't want anything to do with me for a while. this happened once or twice a year for the past 5 years.
Oh FIrecracker is going to die so painfully. I wonder... is homelander going to off her based on Sage's suggestion, or will Sage actually be the one who directly causes it....
Both Sister Sage and Firecracker are going to learn that in the 7 there are no friends and the more f*ck up or piss off Homelander will put them on the fast track to an early grave.
Dude i knew that " One of the good ones" line was coming a mile away. As a intelligent black man in this county, you catch glimpses of Firecrackers at least one or twice.UGH!
Maeve, Becca, Madelyn, Stormfront and now Firecracker - all of Homelander's love interests either end up dying in horrible ways or end up getting horribly mutilated.
She has her own singular agenda that she and only she will benefit from , she's too smart and calculating for it to not be the case . She's playing everyone in that building and tbh i'm terrified of her now . She knows it's a risky game ( Homelander's laser eyes are always squinting whenever she drops a truth bomb on him) BUT she's smart enough to keep him at the right temperature until she achieves whatever plan she has , and let's not discount the fact that she could potentially have a second power that she was smart enough to hide from the world ( just in case) and that she could unleash on him in case he tries to kill her . With a power like hers and seeing the way she uses it , there are so many possibilities to explore when it comes to figure out her real intents , but one thing is sure, she has an individual agenda that will only benefits her ( she does't seem to be in need of validation or gratification from others ,she has no qualm in organizing the death of civilians which means she has no empathy and finally she doesn't share Homelander's illusions of grandeur so I assume "saving the world" is not on her "to-do" list). Could she be on some Thanos/Eren Yeager type of mission though (grand scale "world saving") ? because despite her intelligence and complete self awareness she's not mentally sane at all (the homelander levels of lack of empathy is proof . )
I cannot stand sister sage, it's a classic example of idiots writing a "genius" like she has to have 3rd person omniscient levels of intellect (basically a viewer of the show knowing things she couldn't) in order to do the things she does, I hate that big brained dude from invincible for the same reason, it's so annoying.
Welp turns out Deep, you and Sister Sage after her brains now regenerated back to her normal peak brain capacity after that lobotomy she had will not be a thing. Fun while it lasted though.😭
You got to be either slow or just complaining for the sake of complaining 😂 I and millions of other people clearly heard her pronounce progressive correctly 😂
