Sumi tribe and angami are the highest in adopting plain manu if I'm not mistaken coz of dominating the major hub of Nagaland state so this is a good move and i hope angami tribe too should follow this same step..followed by other tribes.

It had been enforced by Chakhesang Public Org since few years back. Chakhesangs have brought out a constitution even with regard to the adoption, inheritance, traditional & tribal usages, and marriage. Glad SH finally adopted these resolutions.

This is the most wisest decision that Sumis have ever taken. I'm happy for the Sumis now. Even Angamis and Lothas should do the same. Angamis, Sumi and Lothas, these three tribes among the Nagas adopt non-Naga children the most.

We are far many decades since many Nagas adopt non locals/ from mother's name. Its good to see that many of us are waking up now realising the fact that OUR FUTURE IS IN DANGER. We have to also think about the past that Nagas have practice this culture since many generation back. So the person who already got adopted rights will multiply his generation and the cycle will go on and on.
