Pakistan day parade March 23 fly pass is opened by the Air Chief (at that time) himself flying F-16 jet and this tradition has been maintained since long. The paratroopers team (SSG) is also led by the their commander, Maj. General, at that time, by himself.

Pak air force was trained by US from day one and is probably the only one that been trained to the exact same level to US air force. We Chinese first met pak pilot and tried to design JF 17 for them, Chinese been shocked by the skill pak pilot present, which is much better than Chinese pilot at time. So Chinese decide to learn the skill from Pak and pak decide to learn aircraft building skill from Chinese.
