But in the end, because God had made promises to Abraham Isaac and Jacob he will intervene and redeem them.

That's very good advice. It's easy to get distracted from the goal in this life . Jesus is the anchor. Jesus is the rock. Everyone that He starts in prayer and continues in prayer and will Finnish in prayer will experience a special life because of the special directions of HOLY SPIRIT and if needed the miracles needed to accomplish what our LORD wants . Paul said pray about everything. Jesus said you don't have because you don't ask . And the part that is very important if the prayers aren't answered then the person isn't falling Jesus the way HE taught. Through HIS ministry, everything was done in order to change the hearts of mankind so they would become faithful followers . HE helps those few who are faithful to fallow and obey. Shalom
