It is amazing how free flowing an interview you get when the interviewer isn’t trying to trip Ange up or ask him stupid questions.

As an Irish/Scot Celtic support, I am so thankful and proud that Ange is the club's manager and figurehead. As Australian's you must be so pleased and proud that he's one of your own.

For me it's spooky! Ange feels like Stein reincarnated. His belief, his commitment, his innovation, his die hard application is of course his own, it's Ange not Stein but I'm kind of loving it. He is our leader.

If the £ hadn't fallen to the level of the 2008 economic recession rate, I'd have loved to return to Oz to watch the games.

Dear Ange: As a lifetime Celtic supporter, I hope you have a long, successful, rewarding stay at Paradise. As an American, however, I would love to see you accept the top job for our national side. That team is full of players from elite clubs in the best leagues on earth, and they underachieve shamefully. The American supporter base would support you instantly, and they really want a change in leadership. I don't gather that you're terribly fond of the way we Yanks handle our business, but if you ever have a change of heart, the door is always open.

Comes across very well. No disrespect to Celtic but do think he needs to move to the premier league sooner rather than later in order to take himself to the next level as a manager. In doing so, he'd be pitting himself against the best managers in the world and that can only be a good thing for his development.

Yeah. From that interview.. he is definitely not staying at Celtic for the long term. Unfortunately. A domestic treble and a lacklustre run at the champions league will probably annoy him. It doesn’t take much for a domestic journalist to piss him off. I don’t think he is in the mood to “rinse repeat” treble champions league fail.. treble champions league fail etc etc. he probably will give a premiership team a crack.
