Exclusive clip from Firebrand starring Alicia Vikander as Katherine Parr and Jude Law as Henry VIII. The movie premiered at Cannes this week. A release for the general public has not been given.
@@Midnightsstan521 that's awesome. I don't know you at all obviously but based off your comment Inhad a fealing you would say Wolf Hall. I obsess over Historical stories. I want to write Historical Fiction Novels. I haven't watched the 6 wives yet but it's on my list. For some reason I love "The White Queen" series. It's kind of soap operaish but it nails that historical atmosphere. Love the Cadfael Series. Wolf Hall is Amazing. Kingdom of Heaven. There's so many good ones
@@hereticlife2546I loved the White Queen... Max Irons is so good in it. The White Princess was probably my favorite though. I'm sad they canceled the show about Elizabeth. If you're going to write historical fiction might I suggest doing what if's? Like exploring if Arthur had never died or if Edward had never died and neither Mary or Elizabeth took the throne. Would be cool to read. Not a lot of historical fiction like that. Fanfiction is a great way to dabble and have fun with some things... haven't read many good Tudor fanfics, it would be nice to read. If you're ever interested I could recommend 2 or 3 actual good ones.
It's getting mediocre reviews and it doesn't even have a trailer or a release date. It's dead. However, you should still be proud of being a small part of such high-caliber movie :)
I would shiver too. Henry viii was crazy towards the end of his life. When he fell off his horse in 1535 or 1536 he hit his head and the trauma messed his brain up. His personality changed and he became a ruthless tryant.
@@velisagorham8453 Of course, the real KP must have been living on a knife edge. I hope this adaption gives a true depiction of Katherine. The acting in this was very tangible. It is likely he changed after his fall, but some historians see this differently. He became cantankerous with pain in his leg and grew accustomed to power.
People do tend to lose a lot of weight when they are sick, and even more so when they're laying in their deathbeds... DYING!! So, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he may have been that size before his death.

Yikes. Another failed costume drama - I guess getting Helene Louvart as a DP and arthouse director isn't enough. It's still a boring costume drama. Maybe not get bland actors next time okay.
Alicia Vikander is anything but bland. She has a huge range of roles and nailed every one of them. Jude Law is hit and miss, but when he's good he is really good. I suspect he depends on a quality director more than Alicia, who never disappoints.
The fact that you looked at this clip and your only reaction is to claim boredom lets me know you're either an attention whore or that the Fast & Furious franchise is more suitable for your viewing pleasure
