Finkel immediately put out articles and interviews stating that Wilder would not be unifying with Vlad because he's not ready. He's just a prospect, just a baby. This was after winning the title! You only need to look at Wilders resume to see that his team have always gone for the easy options. Right up to the Ortiz fight. Prior to Ortiz, Wilder had essentially been fighting mid to low level opposition. His team picked Fury because of the 3 year layoff and recent morbid obesity. But after the draw its become apparent that Wilder won't be unify and instead will be taking easier fights with fellow PBC fighters. Wilders team have always shown little confidence in him and I'm sure that's why the undisputed fight hasn't happened.

Those are the people the go way past those are great (Wilder, and Fury (a little)) and become true legends. Wilder had almost 40 fights and there heavy weight division was still sleep. Fury had 20 fights too and the division was still sleep. Say what you want. Joshua came on the seen and the heavy weight division erupted. So, when Joshua fought Breazeal, he didn't go in there too blast him out. He went for to things. 1) Punish him for the disrespect, 2) To treat him like a sparring partner. But Breazeal popped his nose Joshua said you got to go and in a couple seconds he knocked him down twice. Wilder should and is afraid because Joshua brute Force knocked him out meaning he overwhelmed him with skill the blew his lights out when Breazeal guard broke. I bet Joshua and Wilder fight will still take forever to make. Not until Wilder gets bigger and a better technique.
