If they released a gold card for it and we don't have it in english. That sounds to me that they are trying to bring it back. You can use a gold ultra ball from sets ago so long as ultra ball itself is still in rotation. Pretty sure it's coming back

@@thewniverseit’s not coming back lol. This is a main land china release. They just got the final Sword and shield sets. They’re crazy behind. They’re releasing special variants of cards so every region buys them. The ultra ball is a special case because ultra ball is always in rotation. It’s rarer for it not to be, than it is, so it was inevitable to be reprinted lol.

@@thewniverse Look at the literal card on screen. Mark E. They’d need to update that Mark to make any version legal. Similar to all those reprints in Celebrations.

@LocalMaple they have remarked updated versions of the same card look at ultra ball it has different markings plus they can do whatever they want with the game im just saying we've seen it done in the past when we didn't expect cards to get reprinted as well as sets in full. Anythings on the table at this point

I would say it's less of a chance of reprint since we have the poffin card and that seems like a nerfed version of it. @thewniverse

i don't think they will after they brought out buddy puffin. it also has the "E" stamp on it so its definitely a rotated card.

I’ve seen gym leader challenge use foreign cards in the format so I’m pretty sure it will be legal for the format as long as you and your opponent knows what it is. If not bring an English card just to show off. Time to bling those GLC decks
