If we are to believe all the evidence and the States belief he is responsible of these heinous crimes, a genuine person who had found God would plead out and take responsibility. You can't turn your life to God in good consciousness and continue to go to court proclaiming your innocence and put everyone through further trauma of a trial.

My father was a head Chaplain at a State Pen. Some used church just to get out of their cell. I am glad my dad retired. It was dangerous.

God Bless this Pastor & all the men, women & volunteers that go into the Prison systems to minister the innmates. I understand Reality in the sense that to many of them it won't make a difference they're just bored and looking for a reason to get out of their cell or something to do but that's irrelevant if they reach 1 man or woman or save 1 life Then every second they were there in every person they reached out to it was well worth it! Don't talk badly about those whom are incarcerated for they win no differently than those of us on the outside. Someday if I got the chance I'd be honored to counsel inmates

pre covid my husband and I used to do prison ministry. If an inmate was segregated, then he would come in by himself for half the time. The guard would bring him back and then bring the others in together for the rest of the session.

Importantly, God will forgive you of your sin. However, he tells us that forgiveness itself doesn’t remove consequences. Sin always has consequences - always. If your request to accept Jesus as your savior and to follow him is genuine, then the benefit is that you don’t have to face those consequences alone. Personally, I have no empathy for Kohberger and don’t know that his actions are genuine. That’s between he and God. He will and still should be held accountable.

Why do you assume Bryan has *FOUND* God?? How do you know he hasn't believed in God always? Didn't he even go to Catholic school growing up ??

There are AA (*Alcoholic Anonymous) meetings in prison. Good way to spend an hour if you are incarcerated.

The best work ever, for through Jesus Christ, all things are possible. There is hope and forgiveness. A man called David in the Bible once sinned, and God gave him three choices of punishment, and he begged God that He would not give him over in the hands of men. I could not agree more with David after reading comments on this case for weeks and weeks...comments of hate, judgment, etc....and all of this before Kohberger has had a fair trial comming from people who think the sins they do are not as bad as what they presume, Kohberger did... the audacity of it all. Don't people know or realize in the eyes of God there are not big or small sins. Sin is sin, and the punishment is the same in the here after....and there is forgiveness and grace for all who genuinely without agendas come to Christ. .

I find this interview to be boring AF cause she cannot ask him any relevant questions besides Jesus which is the least relevant.

As a former inmate and recovering addict I can attest that the lady who did ours was an amazing beautiful woman who is with God now but she brought thousands to God and Jesus ate with the sinners but I feel like murder and harming a child or elderly is unforgivable 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let's Hope and Pray that this Pastor isn't from the specific denomination of "Christ Church". ( The sect who is most well known for its insistence to NOT use musical instruments during Worship). That's not a biblical doctrine. GOD never said NOT to use them and anyone who makes up a doctrine that is not supported by scripture itself, and then they proceeded to use that imaginary doctrine as a means of judging whether someone is being obedient to God, that's the very definition of a cult! Keep in mind that the Bible says that Satan comes as an angel of light. I'm not saying that this man is not sincere but a person can be sincerely wrong. I'm also not saying this man is Satan but when someone is speaking the truth of God, it's very dangerous when they encounter someone who teaches half-truth and half cult doctrine! The list of religious who teach false doctrine is quite a long list just like Jesus said. Jesus said that many would come in his name but they are false. Jesus said if someone comes to you with any doctrine that is not exactly from the Bible then they are a false teacher and you should avoid them and you should deem them to be a heretic and dangerous to your soul. Christ Church has many false doctrines but I mentioned the doctrine of not using instruments because that is the one they themselves used to set themselves apart from other believers. Also, if you are involved with a church who has doctrine that seeks to divide you from others and seeks to elevate itself, you may also be a member of a cult. Of course, GOD can use anyone! And how does Banfield know that BK wasn't taken to Sunday school as a child? Was she there? BTW: it's not considered difficult work if you are a born-again believer who is filled with the holy Spirit. When God saves a soul and sends his holy spirit to dwell within, the power of his Spirit changes your very being and your desires are also changed to come in line with God's will. Therefore, many Christians serve in prisons all over this country because Jesus will judge people who abandon those who have fallen from Grace.

How ridiculous to make the title of this infer that you would talk to BKs pastor. Thankfully, you were only able to get general answers out of this pastor. However, you kept trying him to state specific facts about BK, which he repeatedly refused to. This pastor gave insight what prison ministry is about. Ashleigh, did you really think he would give you specific information about BK?? People in positions where confidentiality is required do stand by that. I am very upset you tried to get this Pastor to give information that you are not privy to.

There is plenty of time for the 'hope of Jesus', right now we just want a trial, we want him found guilty, and we want him sentenced. THIS is too early. You should be ashamed of yourselves, talking about religion, forgiveness, moving on and healing.... we haven't even went through the legal process yet. A slap in the face of the family/victims, to be talking about this right now. This is not the time. Tasteless.

My thoughts when one becomes incarcerated. You become subjected to rules and told what to do. In a sense are you going to do the right thing or continue to do wrong. Coming to jesus in your own mind is what they are offering. But when you read the bible look at it like this. most of it was written by someone who was incarcerated. Jesus God the bible is all preprogrammed in our brains. We know right from wrong same thing its preprogrammed. Another example what is a normal person to not normal. We just know. The conclusion well for him we shall see!!!

Actually, he is doing work that we all should be doing, and that is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately in KolBergers case, more than likely just trying to get out of his cell. I hear guys in aa saying that is how they got exposed to AA, just wanting out of their cell.

As humans with feelings, it is easy to see things from an angle of earthly justice to the point of forgetting what God would say in a certain situation. I am happy that this Pastor made it clear that the bible and Jesus do not belong only to the righteous... but to all of us, sinners, whatever the degree of our sins... Most of the time, the path of finding the Lord is a challenging one, because when everything runs smoothly, not many actually seek Him.

Its hard to get to heaven, and one of the requirements is to forgive and forget. Yes its hard but if you keep the anger inside of you it can make you sick, or your body fall apart.
