I have been telling everyone from the very beginning that something is really fishy on how the state is handling everything. November 25 th a welfare check was conducted, November 26 th Lori and Chad leave for Hawaii. Jan 16 CPS gets a court order to remove the children from Lori Vallow and put them in the custody of the state. January 25th the court order is delivered to Lori in Hawaii giving her 5 days to turn her children over to the custody of the state. Woooh! wait a min! Can CPS just take away our kids anytime they want just because I don't want to disclose where they are? At no time did CPS say anything about abuse. I should have the right as a parent to send my kids up to stay with anyone I want and I should have the right to remain silent about their whereabouts even to the police. I am not concerned about this case with Lori Vallow, but I am concerned about the state having that kind of power to take away our children with no signs of abuse. Did you know that the Idaho state guide for taking custody of someones children for Neglecting a child can not be enforced for 1 year of neglect. So how did CPS cut through all the red tape and put in an immediate order to remove the children without any investigation from CPS? At no time did the state ever say just let us know your kids are ok. They didn't want to know they were ok, they just wanted to take them away. If the state acted like that to me. Yah you are never going to see my kids ever. If CPS ever comes to my house and tells me they want to see my children, I would tell them to go to hell and I would go take them to stay in our old family cabin in the woods. 1) There is no proof of abandonment 2) No proof of murder 3) Alex Cox died of a blood clot Everything is circumstantial evidence and I don't even understand how she is sitting in jail. Heck we let murderers run around free for years while we gather evidence. Josh Powell murdered his wife and everyone knew it but he never spent a single night in jail. He retaliated against me by calling the police and reporting that I fraudulently took $3k from him. 4 years went by and I was trying to get a rental and when they ran a background check it came back I had a warrant out for my arrest for a felony crime. I went to the court thinking "what do I have to fear, I didn't do anything" I went to the court and I got appointed a public defender. I couldn't even get in touch with my public defender until the day before the preliminary hearing. She gets on the phone with me and is going through the charges, she already made up her mind that I was guilty before hearing me out. I even explained that I have witnesses, and documents that proves I am innocent of any wrongdoing and that $3k was for marketing leads we both put in for. She asked if I had a signed contract with him and I told her "no". She said it didn't look good. I am telling her but I have witnesses and I even have evidence of the leads we purchased as well as the $18,000 he made from those leads. It didn't matter to her. Next day at the courthouse she tells me the prosecuting attorney wants to make a deal with me. She says with the criminal charge that I am being accused of, I could be looking at a 10 year sentence with a $20,000 fine if I am found guilty and It doesn't look good. She said and because I was a mortgage broker when all this accrued a jury can view this as a big money hungry broker taking advantage of a poor victim and some of those people on the jury could have lost their home in the big housing crash and they may have resentment against you. She said that the prosecuting attorney is willing to drop all charges and all I will have to do is pay back the $3k and do 100 hours of community service if I plead guilty. So possible prison for 10 years and $20,000 fine for a crime I didn't commit or $3,000 and a hundred hours of community service. All I had to was plead Guilty of a crime I didn't commit. Mind you I had a 2 yr old daughter that died in a drowning accident in our pool, 6 months later the mortgage industry fell apart and my whole brokerage was shut down, our vehicles were repossessed, we foreclosed on our house, we had to filed for bankruptcy, we moved in with my wife's parents, and we still had 3 kids at home. So I felt I had no choice but to plead guilty for a crime I didn't commit. I never thought I would ever be put in a situation like that and could you imagine if I had media coving this story as if I was guilty and how took advantage of some poor guy and then could you imagine the public out cry and threats people would make. People are mad at me for posting things about how Lori could be innocent and that we just don't know. Well I have just a little taste of what she is going through and you know even if she is found innocent and even if the kids come out of hiding it wouldn't matter. The media and public has ruined their life. Why can't people just allow people to be considered innocent until proven guilty, it's not right and when people do this I feel like it's me being accused all over again and that's why I am fighting for Lori to be innocent. Here’s my issue: Lori and her family seem to think Lori is justified in “hiding” her children. That is unacceptable in any community around the United States. If children drop off the face of the earth ie. no longer attend school, no longer attend church, no longer speak to friends and family, the community understandably wants it to be proven that said children aren’t in danger. It doesn’t matter that Lori thinks they’re safe. For all we know, they could be being tortured, or trafficked, or god forbid a thousand times, dead. The community has every right to demand it be proven they are safe. For Loris family to act like she is the victim is just foolish. If it was Oprahs kid, people would demand the same thing.
