Gareth, your cutting is excellent, and reflects the world class quality that is Sassoon. The shape, however, falls into that repetition perennially seen at Sassoon. But you're well on your way to mastering the craft! Love the model's natural coloring and the palette used by Carla: the lightened brows against the fair skin and light eyes. Reminds me of images seen in the 30s. 60s, and most recently in the early 90s. But the hair looked very damaged and lackluster. Oddly, I much prefer the hairstyle of the models in these videos before the cut. LOL! Thank you for posting. The video was enjoyable all the same. Cheers!
Greetings from Kentucky this looks like a short page boy or a bowl haircut kind of rounded it's a lot nicer than the boring Bob's Bob's are too heavy looking can you add this will work also with a slight undercut hidden undercut if you have thick hair
4:28 That is elevation not overdirection. Elevation is up and down. Overdirection is front to back. "The hair is elevated to the first section..." I learned that from Sassoons training. They'd do well to adhere to proper standard instead of slipping.
Superb cut and color techniques. Top class. Only the poor woman cannot see clearly. However seductive and alluring she looks, she needs to have her eyes clear of hair. This will damage vision.

I had the opportunity to work with Sassoon stylist in the past. Their foundations is strong most haircuts do is basic or classic. They take more than 2 hours to complete a hair cut. In London each cut their charge £70 onwards back in early 2000s.. Now is higher I suppose .. But they can't do Asian hair as good as they do european hair. In most Asian countries for a hair cut n wash, style finish 45min to an hour.. If took too long to complete a hair cut both the boss and customer will not be happy.
