Jaspal Bhatti ji was the first to introduce comedy show in Indian TV with "punch in every line" specialty. His shows theme were so common that everyone can relate to them. He is sorely missed.

I lived in Chandigarh from 1985-2001.Was fortunate to meet almost all Flop Show actors,including legendary Bhatti ji, sometimes in morning walks to Sukhna Lake, sometimes in Sec 17,19, 22 markets..,sometimes near Rock Garden.Great memories .Miss Bhatti ji and Vivek ji..

Wow, thank you so much for this! I've watched every episode of Flop show for more than 100 times and still feel I can see them everyday. Meeting the cast and hearing from them today was extraordinary. RIP Jaspal and Vivek ji!

First of all, Thank you Amit Sir for sharing this beautiful interview with us. Believe me or not, every night when I return from office, I keep on playing one by one episodes of either Ulta Pulta or Flopshow. His works are so pure and genuine comedy, not like our current generation, injecting slangs and abusive words in the name of Comedy. & That's why I like your​ works/comedy too. 😃 Often I think how did he actually manage to do all that scripts, screenplays, acting, direction, all at a time, at that time, when the Industry was lacking resources or say post production skills. He with his talents and talented co-workers had gifted us so many beautiful pieces of work, rather Masterpiece! 😊 R.I.P Bhatti Sir. Flop Show would have crossed 1000s of episodes by this time. Lots of love, best wishes and respect to Savita Ma'am and the entire crew (read Family) of Flop Show! & Amit Sir, you're awesome! 😁 I really enjoy your comedy because they are clean, no slangs, no negativity! We need more and more true comedians like you. Like somewhere I read : " A director introduce an ITEM SONG in his film when he feels that his story is not going to work." Same applies for comedy too. A true comedian doesn't need to add slangs or abusive words to make people do "Haha" 😄 & That's what makes you different and special! Respect and best wishes.

This is amazing. I grew up watching Flop Show in early 90s and was sad when it finished. It wasn't for another 20+ years that I managed to see the episodes again and thoroughly enjoyed them. I see the entire Flop Show at least once a year and every time it's a laugh riot. My eyes were wet as I watched this. Jaspal passed away too soon. Most of the world doesn't realise what they have lost.

I met Jaspal ji just 5 days before he passed away, in Mumbai. I praised him and he asked me to watch the upcoming Punjabi film of his son in an elevator in an Andheri building. I didn't know that it was the last time I would be seeing that man of steel. There was only one Ghenghis Khan and there'd be only one Jaspal Bhatti.

Flop Show is one serial that I can view again and again and still laugh a lot. Watching this interview is so heart touching since I get to see crew members talking about the making. What a great actor/script writer was Jaspal Bhatti. Amit Tandon well done !!
