I am a big fan of Gaahl, but he became my personal hero in November, when they performed in Pakkahuone, Tampere. I met Gaahl in the evening before the event as I was going to ask Pakkahuone's staff, is there any tickets left. There was no tickets behind the desk. Gaahl was there sipping his coffee and I nervously went to say hello to him. I held myself back, because I suppose he doesn't like casual fan reaction. Just told him that I am big fan of his and asked how's it going. Continues ->

In the evening I got a phone call from my friend that Pakkahuone's staff told him that I was on Gaahl's quest list as I was moving back to the city with my current girlfriend. There at Pakkahuone Gaahl came to me personally tell me that I was free to enter. We got a ticket to my girlfriend outside. That moment was one of the greatest in my life and I thanked Gaahl many times of this opportunity. It was epic to be under Gaahl's goat horns hand sign in the front row. He is awesome.

As I was speaking to him, I got a photo of me and Gaahl in the picture and his autograph. He was nice and charismatic guy, he stared in my eyes the whole conversation and it was freezing. He could tell pretty much everything about himself by just a look. I told him that I can't get to the concert due to fact I missed the ticket sale, but this meeting was enough for me. As I took one nerve-beer to calm myself down, Gaahl looked at us, thinking and then left. -->

I saw God Seed in Aarhus and spoke to Gaahl after the show. I told him how great it was that he was back. Now he mentions the people he spoke to in Aarhus as a reason for him to continue, which makes me very proud.

He's right, even though I'm not a huge cradle fan. It's better to have some variety in a lineup, rather than everyone playing the exact same shit. Cause that really can get old...

No you´re not! I love Gaahl (although I´not gay as he is...). BUT because of his voice..what he did in Gorgoroth! Haven´t heard this God Seed yet...But what did he say about theatre and Bach? I love J.S Bach´s music, aways have..Would be GREAT to hear him screaming on classical like Bach...Like those "passio" stuffs...

This guy is legit. I have tremendous respect for him and I follow everything he does although I am not a Black/Death Metal follower ... I do follow the genre somewhat, but I find Gaahl particularly relevant and interesting. He is much more than just a singer. I cringe when I see him being interviewed by a fucking idiot who asks basically bullshit questions. Gaahl = fantastic.
