People of that area may kindly seek advice from people from Kohima to Doyang, from Mokokchung to Tuli area. When the same National Highway could be constructed why not in this stretch of road. People should understand that because of some selfish interest, travellers from other districts are facing the hardship.

Outside little star school dimapur it's highway but too much traffic jam, ask the little star school administrator did they bought the highway or otherwise don't jam traffic. Buying all the surrounding land instead of making parking lodge constructing buildings.

This is the problem in nagaland. Instead of money being directly transferred into beneficiary accounts the administration draws the money to give cash to villagers. This is not right. In niuland district the PM gas pipeline land compensation was also attempted to be given out this way but concerned landowners demanded account transfer so that everything would be transparent and recorded. Drawing out cash to be disburse is dubious and in by itself proof of an attempt to manipulate payment amount. GBs and chairmen of the villages should be there to protect their people from being tricked.

I am concerned about how people in the comments section claim to know the truth just by watching both videos. The comments neither justify the truth for the public nor for the GB. It is impossible to judge accurately based on watching both stories alone. On behalf of viewers and travelers, I request a court case to reveal the truth and ensure justice is served. The land owner should return every cent with interest, the government should ensure the money is returned and rather develop other place for the public (who need to cross this highway), we are suffering untold hardship because of them, every time we cross this particular highway we face horrific experience. It took them years to realise the misappropriation of compensation, meanwhile they were enjoying the compensated money and now they suddenly realise they want more.

First of all Nagaland PWD must give a public statement and clarify it, because NPWD is the main in-charge to look after road construction in Nagaland, the Department will have all the knowledge with regards to it. As we listen to both the parties, it looks like the issues started from the very beginning, which is "survey," and it involves technical teams from the concern department to assets it. Until and unless NPWD clarify it, there'll be no proper solution to address the issues. And it will create more enmity and confusion among different groups especially in VK area, and construction of the National Highway in that area will be further delay.

In all developmental works.. property damage compensation is applicable in all over India. Whereas in the context of Nagaland the Article 371A clearly indicate the rights of ownership of land and property to the owner whether it be individual, clans or groups as per customary nature. Hence, both land & property compensation rights to ownership are applicable . Wherever and whatever it may be, State govt agencies must take references to this Article and propose all relevant measures to ensure proper compliance with the laws.
