Coming back and watching this, I have to say that Gene has been consistent all these years. I wish to God he’d chill out and settle down. But he reminds me of us growing up here. Everyone in NY knows a few Genes. Crazy, wild, doesn’t care about the rules. But I also see a funny dude that is probably a blast to hangout with. I don’t like his association with Alite but who the Fck am I? I have friends that people hate too. Forget about it. I really do wish him well and hope he can make a comeback.

I read Gene's book. Decent story, but it seemed like Lou Romano just took Gene's notes and slapped them in a book, grammatical errors be damned. I'm on John Gleeson's book, now. He had a lot of interactions w/Gotti's guys, even w/John the 1st trial. That book is a page turner. Gene's not so much.

Gene and John Penisi wouldn’t have had much of a chance to cross paths because John didn’t come back around the life until 2013 and that was around the time Gene got jammed up. Plus John wasn’t living in Howard Beach at that time.
