Bengaluru was first city in Asia to get electricity in 1904 and even before independence we had IISc, State Bank of Mysuru, Mysuru sandal soap factory, Mysuru electrical industries,Kolar gold fields, Bhadravathi iron and steel company and after independence we got HMT, HAL, ISRO. Kannadiga Narayana Murthy founded Infosys and made this place worth for IT investment. U came here because u saw there was an opportunity here, u entered, invested and made profit but why didn't u go to UP, Bihar, Jharkhand or Chattisgarh because u won't trust either people or govt there right? Just becoz we were able to elect stable govt who works to build this city u was able to come here remember that. Even now feel free to take ur investments to Bimaru states we will be really happy. YOU'RE HERE BECAUSE OF "US" AND WE ARE NOT HERE BECAUSE OF "U". this is the country which has a strong rich diversity where each and every religion, caste, language people are contributing to the nation's growth. If u try to say its because of u everything is happening then its indirectly going to break the "unity" of this nation. Please mind this

i am kannadiga, whenever i go andra i talk in teleugu, when i go delhi i talk in hindhi, when i go kerala i talk in malayali....but when all come to karnataka they talk in their own launguage...???? it shows how kannadiga's are humbe,kind and giving respect to others. others shows attitude....is it fair??????

Dear All. I am a Malayali, on behalf of useless communist I would to take this opportunity to say sorry to all of you, he is saying Bangalore is not built by Kannadigas alone. But the seed was paved by kannadiga and it flourished. The contribution of Kannataka in India’s growth stands in the forefront. While these communists were oppositions computerisation and IT creating strikes and Harthal, Karnataka’s visions leaders paved way for growth and development. This guy is now talking about constitution. Being a Malayali and a IT professional I have always thought why the kannadiga numbers are less in most of the companies. The best solution would be to decentralise development out of Bangalore and spread it across states. People from other states find it easy to relocate to Bangalore for various reasons. Bangalore is a beautiful place and nobody wants to leave it. I would like to thank all Kannadigas for giving such a a beautiful place and opportunity for fellow Indians. I am proud of you.

Please implement it, will get lower traffic, rent reduced. Cause all the IT guys will move to other states. All industries will go elsewhere.

Lakh of malayali people working in Bangalore but we are here treated as 2 nd citizens .More over they posting malayali teachers to teach kannada students what a shame.If the bill passed the first effect is to malayali people.The another thing is the Kerala govt already make malyalam is compulsory for getting job here .

I am not from Bangalore. But non locals in Bangalore have spoiled the city. Outsiders, don't feel that they belong to Bangalore. They exploit the resources and don't contribute to the development or upkeep. Ofcourse, outsiders are generating revenue for the state.

As a tamilian I see this as a *fair decision* taken by KA CM Native residents must be served first. Where will these native people go for ? we get to see very less number of kannadigas in any of the sectors and their jobs are being occupied by non-kannadigas.

Before u guys entering into our state there were many brands we created locally. If u really have the guts and talent why can't u do that in your state and prove it. I belong to Andhra.. I was wondered about these allegations stating Benguluru is not built by Kannadigas. This kind of allegations should be condemned because Karnataka gave an opportunity for non locals to live their life's.. which lead to the migration of other's to Bengaluru. Climatic condition's & Geographical location of Benguluru City attracted it's migrant's. Whom so ever.. Non locals do not have a right to claim this city. Reserving Bengaluru with 65% for Kannadigas & 35% for other's is acceptable. Bengaluru for Karnataka..

I respectfully request the Chief Minister to implement this scheme efficiently and immediately in Bengaluru. With the population reaching 1.5 crores, we are now facing a water crisis, and it has become unaffordable for many to live in a single state. We need to consider the development of additional satellite cities in india to alleviate the pressure.

He is saying this because he knows that North Indians in Bangalore are not in large numbers, and most of them don't work in the IT sector; they are generally involved in lower-scale jobs. It's mainly the South Indians who might face job losses. I've noticed that many Malayalis and Tamilians form groups against us in Bangalore, but they often don't know how to speak or write Kannada😂😂

Of course, Bangalore was built by Kannadigas. It is the support of the Government of Karnataka, a Kannadiga government, that branded Bangalore. All the states, including Kerala, tried to emulate Bangalore and tried to surpass it, but they failed because they couldn't offer the tech culture that Bangalore boasts. Bangalore was far ahead of other states in adopting technology, thanks to the very progressive rulers we had in the form of the Mysore Wodeyars. Even after independence, most of the top PSU units and their R&D centers were set up in Bangalore because the Government of Karnataka offered them all sorts of support.

Its a open secret in IT Industry. Management always try to look for employees from its own state. If a manager speaks a language, he tends to new hires only from his states with the exception of kannadigas. I see even the non skilled employees are from other states. This is gross injustice. We dont see such scenarios in other states. Atleast for the non skilled sector, there has to be prominence given to the kannadigas. John is evading the question of others not learning kannada and calling it polarization. What we kannadigas experience is these are the people who come prepolarized with no respect to native languages.

That's why Bengaluru was a paradise before the outsiders came in..

Who told you that Bangalore is not built by kannadigas, this is purely built by kannadigas. This Bangalore City is entirely spoilt by migrants to the maximum worst situation. I am living in the Bangalore since my birth more than seventy years if I compared to the early to 1980 most of the migrants are 90 percent and only old timers are not visible. I have enjoyed in this city only by walking to the various places as there is no pollution, people are very much nice and very few hotels and eateries.

I agree with whatever the government is doing for Kannadigas because I also work in the private sector. I have faced issues where Hindi-speaking people are given preference, only hiring those who speak Hindi, and the same goes for Tamil, Keral, and Telugu people. Is this fair to the locals who were born here and have been paying taxes for generations? It is high time for change in Bangalore. Outsiders holding high positions are biased towards hiring people from their own states. Is this justifiable? I believe the government's focus on supporting Kannadigas is commendable. Let people from other states work in their own regions, avoiding corporate politics. I am confident that Karnataka won't face any challenges or lose any industries. Karnataka has a skilled workforce capable of handling any task. Engaging in practices like favoring individuals from their home states would lead to such decisions
