UBUNTU: I admire your courage and passion in engaging with foreign diplomats which is rarely seen in domestic media cultures. Please keep moving forward !

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Good job guys, I liked your push backs!! What I noticed is that you were a bit nervous. Don't be! Think of these Diplomats as just any politicians. You are just as smart if not smarter. I live in the west. We know who they are trust me. So don't be nervous, do your researchs diligently and trust in yourselves! Let me say again I'm proud of you and continue to do great work!

The problem between Abiye and Mekele is ideology. Federalism vs neo-feudal system. Abiye made U-turn to old soul eating system of feudalism in a new template. One single guy Abiye squashed the 100 years struggle.

The ambassador is very calm, confident, spoke eloquently, very well read but the question from the journalist is one sided and immature

Honestly, this is an awkward interview, poorly hosted! You were doing good in your interviews in local language.

English isn't their day to day language, meaning they aren't used to expressing their thoughts in English at that level. Of course it isn't going to be as free-flowing as you are used to in Amharic. But let's acknowledge their courage! Their efforts! As they interview more foreign diplomats and more international actors in Ethiopia, their interviews are going to be become more free-flowing and more confident.

english is not their first language and they are doing perfectly. both of them speak in fluently. you guys have always negative mind

Daniel look at the content of the question not the English language. Your assertion doesn't hold water. weak analysis.

@@elnj2799 Did you read my comment? There is a difference between being negative and giving constructive feedback! There is no shame in not being perfect in English. Most of us here aren't perfect in the English language unless we were born or live in english speaking countries or went to certain schools in Addis. We all just need to acknowledge that we aren't perfect and keep working on becoming better.
