2022 and I'm just now seeing this and other DWTS episodes (after a spell w/out show) and impressed with this big step, it's time. I grew up without seeing ANY representation, so it needs to be admired. I'm a babyboomer, straight and glad I see progress for other people. YAY

Jojo is almost like her daughter or her little sister!! It’s sweet! End it kind of gave me a newfound level of respect for Jenna because you know I knew she grew up in a strict, Mormon household just like Whitney and Lindsay. But the fact that she was so willing and so open to this opportunity to dance with JoJo and to put it on the forefront it’s just such a amazing thing and it’s really been a wonderful experience to watch them dance together.

In a way, these great girls set a a precedent about the costuming changes that would need to be considered when 2 females are dancing together. Glad no one was hurt more seriously.

When dancing with a male partner on other seasons, it's not like the partner was her actual partner in real life and yet they still have to pull off more sensual moves. Why would this be any different?

Oh brother, DWTS thinks it’s such a big deal.......come on most dance classes have all girls. It’s not a big deal

Ballroom dance is very heteronormative (man and woman) so it is a big deal. Other styles of dance may not be this way but ballroom dance is very traditional.
