@@CaptainStandifordOh ok! Lets just allow devs to carry on and release things that could be better in this day and age! Why you mentioning P3D? Ive got thousands of hours in MSFS, never played P3D, you melt.
So you tried it for the first time by landing with a crosswind almost going tail wind when variating... You like challenge !!! It was a good landing ! Thanks for this video !
Didn’t know you were there studd. I ended up sitting on a staircase at the back of the A380 reveal. Was an amazing day and I think they’re saying March 15th-16th for 2025
LOVELY! The second I saw it the good old 777 felt like home immediately. This is really the first video that shows panning around inside the cockpit, and the quality looks outstanding. Even the screws inside the cockpit are modeled in 3D. A blue carpet inside a 777 looks kinda strange, normally this colour is Airbus only and older Boeings use a dark brownish carpet in the cockpit. The screens and the instruments look gorgeous, I hope a few cockpit layout modifications will be possible (backup instrument full layout etc.). This looks like a great 777 that awaits us!! Wonderful. The A380 will also one beast of it´s kind in quality and realism, but the A380 might take another year in development so I personally focus on what I can get very soon - Piston and Turbine Duke and 777 :)
Hi, thanks for sharing this video. May I kindly ask if the color of the cockpit on the video differs from the PMDG 777 trailer? Anyways, I can’t wait for the release of the PMDG 777
I appreciate your videos. I wish they would release these planes already. The constant teasing and sneak peak. I know what these planes look like in real life. I just want to fly them in VR. Give us a release date and we will say thanks.
I’m hoping I can use simbrief for the 777 I can use it fine on the fly by wire a320 but not the 737 and done everything I can so I hope it’s easier on the 777
@@PilotStudd thanks for clarifying! The -300ER is my favourite variant so it’s great that it’s going to be released first! Probably going to be pretty expensive tho! Also I would like the -200LR when it comes out for the classic British Airways routes!
dont get me wrong, great stuff PMDG have been doing, have been using PMDG products for years, BUT I am a bit annoyed and as are many that I have seen that PMDG are not doing the 777-300A. They are doing all 777 variants except the 300A. Their statement was " not many operators are using it " but my response to them is. " how many operators are using it now? not many, how many operators of the 747-400D are there now? None, so why make the 400D but not the 300A? " the statement they gave is not enough in my opinion to not do the 777-300A not to mention its not different from the 200ER and 300ER if you took half and half parts. the 300ER cockpit and everything in it, the 300ER fuselage, the 200ER gears. It is just the same. I do hope at some future they reconsider. Now me posting this here is not aimed at the youtuber showcasing the lovely aircraft. Great video. I just felt a need to get my opinion out somewhere in hopes some will understand.
Always happy to see someone voice their opinion in a civilised matter, I cannot say I have heard of the 777-300A, if you could give me a rundown of this variant, that would be appreciated! Thanks Adam :)
@@PilotStudd the 777-300A ( from how I heard it was named in Robert’s stream but I know it as the 777-300 or 300 non er ) but it is used by operators like Cathay Pacific and ANA and formerly JAL from a year or two ago but due to the PW engine problems globally they retired them earlier, ANA did bring them back into the fleet after the issues though, also airline operators are Rosseya (I might be spelling it wrong but the Russian operator) and I think also air peace??? One previous operator were Singapore airlines I remember flying on it a lot. The engine types include the RR and the PW that you see on the 200ER. The 300 was the first long variant of the 777 previous to the 300ER and was made after the 200ER. The first variant of the 777 was the 200 then came the 200ER then the 300 then the 300ER and 200LR and 200LRF.
@@PilotStudd hopefully so. Since the new update at the time on P3D with the PBR update and 200ER expansion, a lot of people went to the PMDG forums asking about it and since at the time a mod was being thrown around of a PMDG 300 mod which PMDG began to hear about themselves but they still stuck to their statement. And then when the rob stream came out some in his chat we’re still asking about it. Hopefully they reconsider. Rob did say in his words that “there’s a low chance of it being made but who knows” if I remember he saying something like that on his stream but yeah… one can hope haha. One day maybe.
I find the cockpit of the 777 to look a little bit cartoonish compared to the 737 variants, doesn't even look anywhere as good as the p3D versions, even the pen holder which I believe is present in every 777 is just not there, is this something they are still going to work on further or is this model final?
@@CaptainStandiford i did and it looks exactly the same. I urge you to go back and read my entire comment Monter, and there is no need to be rude, the way things improve is by making comments and suggestions and through honest criticism.
