He's so hot! Rachel did not want to settle for a boyfriend though, she was set on being engaged and getting that bling. 💍 You could tell she was really ready to take that next step in her life and this guy couldn't give her what she wanted. I hope he can meet a girl that doesn't make him second guess himself and her too much, but I feel like he probably has unrealistic expectations and he will have a hard time finding "the one" no one is ever going to be perfect.

I don't think that he has unrealistic expectations, I think that a lot people just can't get to the place of proposing to someone after that short amount of time. It's actually very realistic for him to question the process and if he's ready to take that next step so soon. I think that he wanted more time and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But that wasn't what Rachel wanted
Melissa M Rachel was lucky that her and Bryan worked out. Most of the time Bachelor and Bachelorette don't work out. This guy was honest and smart about the way he felt. I truly respected him about that. I totally understood him. The fact that you have to get engaged after 5 minutes, it's just crazy. But this show and fans want this fairytale crap. But life isn't like that. All he wanted was to wait before he was sure. Frankly it's the smartest thing. Because the show is fantasy, you have to live real life, before you know for sure. He was real. I give credits for that. 😎 I don't think he has any unrealistic expectations. He isn't looking perfect woman. He is much more real than most candidates. 😎😎
Watching those two together was like a movie to me. I came to this show for the first time not expecting much and got so invested. It really was beautiful to see the progression of their relationship, the good and bad. It's weird but I'm grateful for the experience.
Well Scandal is starting in 2 weeks can't wait to see Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn together them too look like soul mates . I know that they are happy married at least Kerry but Tony ???? .

Understand its benefits and limitations so you can try to avoid its pitfalls. You don't know how blessed you are to feel as deeply as you do. It's not a failing, it just needs to be trained. Rachel and you would have been beautiful together, but as much as you both were similar, where you were different was too disparate (she jumps into adventure, you need more time to process everything that is around you - it would've have been a difficult, painful match). She loved you, as you know, her heart was shattered by the experience, but she moved on. You will move on too and find someone who better suits your pacing. #besttoyouPeter
I believe the contrary, she would have been great for him and him for her. great balance. He needs someone to bring him out of himself a bit and she needs some one who can calm her a bit...It's just sad that it turned out the way it did. if it's meant to be it will be. I loved them together. One of my favorite couple tho they didn't make it.
M2 G That's why I added "too disparate". I think their differences were too extreme and would be suffocating for Rachel and stressful for Peter. Not differences that would complement each other in degree, you know what I mean? That paired with their both being alphas would have made, I think for a GLORIOUSLY PASSIONATE but unhappy relationship in the long run between two beautiful people. I mean ..*breathes* I'm still in mourning over how beautiful they were together, but it would not have worked. I say this as someone who's been there and saw too many red flags between the two towards the end.
To me I think he had the first date and was head over heels and that slipped slowly as he watched everyone esle date her. Then he got the last date before hometowns and that scared him. So in that sense it was hard for him to commit. To me he wanted to have more time with her and take the steps to marriage. Just my opinion.

I honestly do think Peter loved her! Even though he wouldn't propose, I never felt that he was stringing her along, just couldn't make up his mind. In my heart I will forever be a Pachel fan, but I wish them both the best. And... I wouldn't be mad if Peter became the bachelor at some point..
Candace Nicole I agreed with you but now Rachel is engaged she making up things to make Bryan feels good in my opinion. That's not right as a Christian. Similar situation happened during Desiree season and she honest with her fiancé chris before he propose to her. Rachel accusing Oh peter stringing and manipulating her and forgetting that she was in love with the guy and gave him several chances to change his mind in proposing to her. Happy for her anyway she is living her best life.
She's not making up things. She needs to protect and defend Bryan and her relationship. Bryan did nothing wrong and have been getting a lot of hate because she chose him instead of Peter. So naturally and instinctively she have to protect him and her relationship..completely understandable in my opinion.
when you want someone and you are sure they are for you, which is what Rachel was for him. she had no doubts about him, but he was indecisive while she was serious and knew exactly what she wanted. though it pained her to let him go she knew she had to and im glad that she did.
You can be fine on the outside but have deep rooted issues inside which cause you to be single! His own mother even said Peter is ready to have a family (kids) but not ready for marriage! The only women that would go for a guy like Peter would be the women who are shallow and have low self-esteem because when you get pass his looks you will find a guy that has deep commitment issues, is insecure and emotionally unstabe! What woman would settle for having kids with Peter but not a commitment...that's classy! teally riley you sound like someone with no life experience in my opinion. Will talk to you when you're mature and have some life experiences. Because you don't get it. First of all majority of the people that go to the show don't make it because they're in the bubble and when reality kicks in they realize that they made a mistake and get call their engagement. When it comes to marriage you want to choose right because you want to spend your life with that person. Peter wanted to know Rachel after the show before he can propose to her since proposal means marriage to him. He wanted a commitment relationship but not engagement or marriage yet. That his believes like it or not you have to respect it and move on. Give him a brake. Rachel is have her best of life they were not meant to be. I'm very happy for her.
Your opinions on who you think Peter is does not matter bc you do not know him! You words contradict what his actions show, what his mother has said about him and what his actions were in his past relationships! My life experiences has been, when someone SHOWS you who they are (by there actions) believe them, cause there actions are who they are! Old interview with Rachel she said there were deep rooted issues between them. I mean I've been very open that I want someone who know who he is, knows what he want and where he is going. And the more I peeled back the layers with Peter. I realized that he wasn't that person. I think the proposal became such a focal point because that's what happens at the end of the show, but that was not the reason that I didn't or I decided not to choose Peter.

I believe the producers made her keep him. Without Peter, the winner was too clear. But that's why the show is so bizarre because you have these compartmentalized relationships. Even if you think you know who you're going to choose night one, you still continue to pursue other relationships. The problem is that Peter refused to go all in with her. He didn't really pursue her. Scratch the watches and the roses, during his interactions with her he was always the one assessing her. It was like he was deciding if he was going to keep her. Not the other way around.
Kay Monay Rachel said at the beginning of the show that she was not going to do anything that she didn't want to do and I don't believe producers forced her to do anything. I believe she kept Peter because she wanted to keep him. She should have just been honest.....more than three hours to say goodbye to someone you were forced to keep......nah

He said he tried to reach out to her on Instagram but he never got a reply. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Peter is a bad guy and he is insanely good looking but I don't believe anything that he says. Rachel and Peter spent probably the equivalent of 5 whole days together max. She does not want him. He does not want her. No, he is not the best looking guy out there but he's okay. Rachel is with a super sexy hottie and they seem to be very into each other. I'm happy to see the love grow between those two. Let Peter get himself a more docile, less smart girl.

y'know? now that we've seen a little more of Rachel's personality, stuff she likes (for instance, if I'd known that Power is one of her favorite shows) the sustained attraction to Bryan makes more sense in hindsight... amazing what editing and 'acting' can make a viewer perceive. Peter can and will do so much better, especially away from this vapid franchise. Whatever he's projecting is that he's a good guy. He is a manipulator when he realized she was more into him than he was into her and tried to change the rules thinking g he could get away with it with her. I'm glad she left him. Women who are ready to be married marry the guys that are like minded if not they will be someone's girlfriend forever. It's not settling, you chose to be with people that want what you do out of life. You end up living a less stressful life. Honestly, I was rooting for Pachel and actually believed their love more than anyone else's EVER on this show. But after reanalyzing the whole thing with a clearer head, I feel like Peter was 100% playing little games with Rachel and tried to manipulate her emotionally. Kimerie Tate ,I totally agree with you on how the Demario incident and other actions against Rachael has been underminded.Peter and Rachael made for good tv.It's been said by Chris Harrison himself,they(the Bachlor franchise) like to produce good tv.And so this is perhaps why the after show drama with Peter has carried on this long and strong.You had made a comment about how Bryan kissed Rachael from the beginning.I was just basically saying that regardless of what anyone's opinion is,Bryan is who Rachael chose.As black women,we should just be more supportive of Rachael's choice rather than adding more to the tear down she's constantly been receiving.Nothing against Peter,although I really don't think that show and the process of it was for him.He said himself,in this clip that he hadn't watched to see what Rachael's true expectations were before he came on the show.Inspite of the fact that she made her expectations very clear through out the show that he happened to be competing on for Rachael's affections:)

Even though I think Bryan was the right one for her(based on what she needed) I sure wish she could talk to Peter and let him have closure... Bryan please let her... he was not an awful person towards her he probably was scared... ( I would have been to especially after the watches) it just did not work out... he knows where her heart lies... it's a shame all parties could not get the closure as others in the past did on the finale ...it's was unfair... not even Bryan was given that happy exciting ending.... but privately why not let Peter get closure ... the public should not be involved with closure or any private conversations because feelings were involved ... real people ...it's a shame that things ended because it was "good tv" ....
