This show was hands down the craziest I've ever seen. They started ripping the boards off the ice in between SOAD and Slipknot when the lights were on. I saw some guys with fireworks too 😂

@skinnyb8230 it started at the Limp Bizkit/Meth&Red/SOAD show and it went on for a few years. They even did it for that Pantera/Soulfly/Morbid Angel show (which was lit)

@@theonlyone992 Exactly. Been a gold mine for us all. And before that it was even rare to get a special show up that wasn’t audio based. Like the most recently golden one was last year with a full MSG show by the channel Hebert’s Archive with the Live at MSG audio on it and I think even then that show was around but in parts than in full.

I’d agree. He literally tore it up with the constant touring by 1999 to 2002. Doing a tour for Stone Sour into 03 after also didn’t help especially with his addictions too

@@williamreynolds3487 Yes he still sounded good. I was at Ozzfezt 2001 in June at MK Bowl in the UK. They sounded really good, but Corey's scream still sounded somewhere in between self titled and Iowa. It seemed to me that when I saw them again when they recorded the Disasterpieces DVD just half a year later, his scream was more ferocious and closer to the Iowa album.

@@jamess854 I gotta disagree. His screams were way fuller and more powerful early in the tour. Plus, how could they be closer to Iowa later in the tour; they would be closest to the album right after it was recorded.

I dont know the full story but the common thing ive seen people say is that a confidential tape was leaked by someone and people that hold these tapes basically said fuck it and opened the vault

Year of slipknot

Earlier this month somebody leaked First Avenue and all the collectors just decided "fuck it" and started releasing their shit. There's also just a general sense of nostalgia right now with the whole 25th anniversary tour and whatnot.
