So Tax basically let somebody else determine his fate because he talked so much shit beforehand, that he had to pull a crash dummy move in order to save face. Tax had a good thing going, but got himself tricked him off the street. He chose to play super gangsta, instead of handling it in the street, not in a building full of cameras. Till this day, I don't think I've seen someone pull the rug from under their own feet the way Tax did.

As the person trying to bring your family member's assailant to justice the only thing more important than getting eye witness statements immediately for an investigator is preventing witnesses from leaving before giving a statement.
