I agree, we want you to have lots of subscribers so that money and free stuff start rolling your way like has happened to many others.... you deserve it boys, you have worked so hard and with such great taste, that it's a pleasure every time I watch!!! 🥰 There's nothing worse than seeing the start of a lovely building wanting to be reborn and as it moves along you discover that those owners have ghastly taste or even want to make it look mundane city modern with all that faddy lighting inside with no respect for period or place... I always feel so bad for the building and can't bear to watch the devastation anymore. 😥

Very unfortunately, the most popular channels focus on chateaus in France, farmsteads in Portugal, and mountain homes in Italy. Less popular channels are houses in Scandinavian countries and a few in Eastern European countries. They also feed off of and promote each other through inter-channel collaborations (especially for chateau). It’s up to us as subscribers to SHARE Dean and Borja’s channel with family and friends and suggest channel collaborations, such as with popular gardening channels. It’s one of the best of the lot ❤.

Please hurry with the renovations of the Gardener's Cottage😄.... what a perfect place to stay in..... My husband is a horticulturalist and we visit the UK to go to the beautiful gardens around England, Wales, and Scotland. When we were young we thought it would be great to live on an estate in the gardener's cottage and care for the estate's grounds. Thank you for the lovely tour of the full estate..what a fantastic place...and you both are doing such beautiful work restoring it with modern amenities but keeping to its history. Well done you.😊

Hi Guy’s, Just amazing how you’ve both transformed the estate back to its former glory! I love that there’s separate buildings,outdoor loos, & huge walls rather than one big Maison ,in my opinion they add more character to your estate ! The gardens are amazing,love that the old paths take you on a journey ! Just a beautiful place to live, take in the views ,relax , fresh air,perfect for children to run around 😊 🥰

Yews are symbols of strength, longevity and rebirth they can live up to 2000 yrs.they grow to 25 meters important for soli stabilization and control erosion. Love the tour Ty

I think the Yew Tree represents immortality in Celtic tradition - that might be why they are found in graveyards.

Also Irish! They also are planted in cemetries as they acted as natural deterrents or boundaries to wandering animals as they are not nice for them to eat!

Someone else answered ,but the yew was used as poison and also for archer bows, it was poisonous to animals also, in Celtic mythology it symbolizes life and death, and as Christianity merged with pagan traditions it continued to be planted near church's and graveyards, for the reasons also mentioned below.Im Irish and we have a 10th century castle related to my family near our home,the name of the castle translates as field of yews and we still have ancient yews in the grounds

Your estate is like a magical ride into the potential of not destroying old buildings but adapting them so the work with the modern conveniences that you need. I love the gardens, that is one thing I miss about not living in England anymore. No matter how small the gardens were people tried to make them a haven from modern life. Love the tour and all I can see you the both of you holding your baby son and showing him all the details. The fun he’ll have running around the paths and playing hid and seek in the long grass. Taking the time to smell the roses and help pick herbs and veggies for a meal. It’s going to be an amazing adventure.

So hugely impressed with all the work you've done. Your love of this place shows! As a long time gardener, just wanted to point out something, if you are not aware, respectfully. Both the yew and holly in your garden are highly toxic, all parts of the plants. Not to be scary, certainly not to suggest you get rid of them! But as you have an infant who'll be walking in a year or two, just be mindful of the plants in your garden. Little ones will put anything in their mouths, and they move fast. Either do the research or consider hiring a botanist for an on site consult, just to look over what's in your garden. Best to be armed with the right knowledge. Take care.

I absolutely love you guys, individually, as a couple and now as new dads. Borja, I love your enthusiasm in gardening. I get just as excited when I see things germinating and growing up, and when new cuttings take root. My Aussie roommate thinks I’m a nut when I get so excited over something in the garden.
