@Gagan Deep You are saying this bcoz none your family members have died in that blast. And you are believing a terrorist on the basis of an interview. I am not defending sanjay dutt but I am saying that you shouldn't be believing a person on the basis of just one interview. If he is innocent he wouldn't have been most wanted for so many years and charged with terrorism.
@@shubhamchavan4757 lol bro, keeping a prohibited bore weapon is a case under arms act, even if he has a fucking RPG and 100 grenades it still doesn't qualify for a TADA charge, and here the man got booked under TADA , was jailed for 18 months , then he contested those charges for 21 years and finally got a clean chit and only after that he got booked under the arms act ( which should have been the case 20 years ago ) and served his punishment so by all means he's a free man who paid a very heavy price for his father's good deeds!
Yes this is what happens purpose of law is to deliver justice depending on the evidence and circumstances, poor or rich every one has to be prosecuted to the full extend of the law if your finance is not good then you prosecution have fair chances to press all charges and prove you guilty..

Well no doubt in this interview he appears to be very innocent, but we cannot get carried away (as Indians usually tend to) by an innocent face and innocent style of speaking. Pls understand that our courts have found him guilty, not any Govt. It is quite unlikely that the Bombay TADA Court, Mahrashtra High Court, and the Supreme Court of India all got it wrong in finding him guilty and the co-conspirator of the horrific bomb-blasts. He must be speaking lot of lies in this interview. We know TIger / Dawud / ISI were the the main masterminds, but others who helped them execute that horror do not become innocents and deserve soft punishment by any stretch of imagination.

samyak sahoo agreed with you brother...they shouldve hanged him within first year of arresting him. Now since hes been in the jail for 23yrs they shouldve just kept him in jail instead of hanging. Its just unfair..

What to say, how to say it and how to play a victim card and get the mercy of all the citizens and they both speak the same thing in each interview. Even that girl Zubeida Memon (Yakub's daughter) is married with a guy named afzal bilakhia who is a son of a terrorist who was equally involved in 1993 Bombay blast. So a criminal father's daughter married with criminal father's son.
If you judge him by this one interview where he knows people are watching him. And they are taught to act innocent. I have family member face terrorist once and they were so sweet talker. No one had any clue they could be terrorists. So don't judge a book by its cover.
I feel very sorry for him. When he says he has not spoken to his brother more than an hour in his life, it resonates a lot with the relationship that I have with my brother. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He came back to his home. He had to pay with his life for his brothers deeds.
He may not have been totally involved in the act , but its hard to believe that , he did not sense that something is not right before leaving India with his family, he as an adult and CA by profession could have easily objected his family’s decision and stayed in India, when he knew ,that he was not involved with his brother .it was a serious and important decision, you are not a baby to hold your moms hand go wherever she takes you.i just saw another video concerning this issue and I am positive, he was totally involved.
Here yakub is telling no memon family was involved in blast case but his wife in one of her statements said yakub has got the capital punishment due to tiger memon

I too noticed the same.....The days and near about times like in one statement he says "8 days after that" which clearly shows he has gotten it memorised in his mind. If any normal would says "8-10" or "8 or near about 7-8"... Something like this.

Even I felt that he was innocent . It was a little comforting when the president then being questioned had said that it was a thorough investigation after which the verdict was given. He was in jail for many years.
@@harshvardhanpratapsingh8280 I don't know much about the backstory of Mumbai blasts, I've heard the names & I know about the incident, but let me tell you, nobody would in their sane mind would justify killings of the innocents! But even so, in a court, every offender is given a chance to tell his side of the story! Not to sympathize with him, but to know the circumstances and to take a fully informed decision! A journalist should act similarly, impartial, one should forget personal emotions and hear everything he wants to say, otherwise what's the point of an interview! Also knowing the circumstances which make a criminal allows the society to introspect so that similar situations can be mitigated! I have just watched the movie Joker & realised how small things can get big with little push in that direction! It's the drops that make a big ocean! Nobody pays attention to those drops but when it becomes the ocean, it could turn into a tsunami and engulf all of us!!
Innocence and guilt apart, I landed at this interview because I read how Madhu Trehan had taken a phenomenal interview. A huge letdown at that. She asks the same questions repeatedly and is more concerned with shouting over his replies, than giving us a picture of who the man is.
I felt the same that she let go a Golden opportunity to interview a key accused. However, I also realized later that the interview must be edited by The Authorities as the matter was under investigation then.
He is 100 percent guilty and dnt get misjudged because he is trying to outsmart.. that is all. Second thing the level of tution he has been given is more then our thinking.
Even as an Indian Hindu, I feel this guy was wronged. He paid for being Tiger Memon’s brother with imprisonment and his life. He comes across as candid and honest here.
It's wrong to condemn him miss interviewer it's seen that you are trying to accuse him but there is nothing he is saying that you can accuse him ...he is all innocent ..whatever God will avenge against all conspirators surely.. innocent lives will be avenged and that would be horrible.

When he left for Dubai on 11th March, what does he mean by saying that he boarded flight for Dubai via Karachi on 17th March?where did he go between 11th to 17th? Can someone please explain? To be fair to Yakub..I believe his statement of the type of his relationship with his brother. I’ve seen numerous brothers who live in the same house but hardly speak to each other and are completely unaware of what’s happening in each other’s life unless they find out from mutual friends, family, servants etc I don’t know why the journalist time and again kept stressing that no one will believe that such relationships exist. She’s one ignorant journalist
He was engaged in financial facilitation of 93 blasts.....This is the basis why he was given death penalty.....However he paid for his allegiance to his family.....At times this happen....Tiger Memon was not only eldest among siblings but also very dominant figure in his family........May be during financial transactions which he handled on behalf of Tiger memon...Yakub definitely knew the illegalities involved in these transactions and surreptitious motives....But may be not knowing the real purpose of money coming in.....Only security establishment knows whether he was arrested or convinced to come back to India......Whatever may the reasons be but surely he paid by his life only to show his family that he is loyal to them first than to his motherland.....Indeed he was criminal by Act but not by nature.....Moreover tiger memon had surely called him a fool...Which indeed he is not......
Youre right.He sounds like a normal human who will value his life more so he went with tiger and his family and stayed there as its very comfortable life.Indian agencies have convinced him to come back because india need to show the true pakisthani nature and even Tiger think him as a fool to believe in the Indian secret agencies.The exact point is Should one be given death penalty for this.
how confidently he speaks. He should not have been hanged. He spent 20years in the prison. It is equivalent to life sentence. I think he says truth. Abruptly he denies the slandering against him. If he had even speck of guilty conscious, he would not have come to India.

Please see the entire court proceeding before deciding whether he is innocent or guilty. One half hour interview with select questions and unverified answers cannot be the basis of any logical conclusion
His whole family shifted with him in Karachi !! And he is saying were taken forcibly to Karachi from flight ?? He is lying . He knew what has done and his fate in India. Only people thinks he was innocent was Great Stupid of Indian Politics Yechury and other intellectual.
the journalist seems intimidated by him in whole interview and was asking same questions again & again instead of listening his sentences fully .He was a cool guy without any fear

In my opinion - Whether or not this guy did a crime, is always a subject of Judicial Judgement, but the journalist was arrogant. When they raise voice or act impatient (Now a days noticing, its becoming habit of many media people), does it really add TRP or channel popularity? Isn't it irritating to the listeners?
I feel this guy Yakub Memon was involved initially in the blasts along with his brother Tiger Memon and others, but later they they might have some dispute and relationships among them have shattered so he surrendered thinking its an easy way out. Just my two cents.
and on this i think govt just took thier frustration out on whoever was caught giving life sentence cause daoowd and tiger never got caught so whoever did they pay the price

Those who are saying that he is innocent and something like this bulshit go back to 10.12 to 11.35. during this good question you can see him getting stuck a bit and you can obserb the change in the voice of this guy around 11.10 to 11.20. Just listen it carefully and observe the hindrense in the voice.
His story is so convincing. Fears of minorities are known to them only. God knows why the reporter is not convinced. Did he not come back leaving all the luxury? Why should he have?

That's such a logic!!! So if somebody doesn't fly away, he is absolved.......matlab kuch to trust karo Indian judiciary pe, it has a very clear approach of evidence based proceedings.
People who look at this interview and just hear his words to form their opinion .....are toooo gullible!! What did you think..he is going to come out and say he did it??? You dont have to take mine or anyone's word for it but do yourself a genuine favor and try to develop your own sense i.e. learn to read between the lines. Just the mannerism of a person tells you a lot! For that matter..... mute the video and watch him. If you have a head above your shoulders and are not brainwashed, you would be able to figure that this person is lying. Keenly observe his attempt to juggle and weave a story as he goes on. He may not be as actively involved as TIGER but definitely played his role! Brainwashed people idolize these guys and then complain that they are not making any progress and have to live in ghettos.
Reporter asked stupid questions. If she were at gunpoint, she would do whatever best possible to save her life. I think if yakub was not innocent then he never came back.
He never said he is innocent...all he said was he was only involved in moving money & resources for Tiger and NOT exclusively planning for the bomb blast. He could have made a call just as much as he could have run away or remained absconding. If Sanjay Dutt can be pardoned with a few years in prison, Yakub was not very far away with his deeds.
My brother is exactly the same as Tiger- his conduct is exactly the same- my mom keeps us away from him, bcz he is harmful- so I do believe to yakub's point- We also stay in the same house but hardly talks now (past 25 yrs) - aggressive as a person
India today should be infact shame of this video ,, where the journalist was totally outsmart by him !! She did not have any answer for his question, like why could he come to India now ?
