Swapping 2005 Ford Expedition 2nd row seats into the 2nd row of a 2002 Ford Excursion Limited v10 4wd. This is definitely not the "near bolt in" some people made it out to be.
Damn lol i got seats from a 2010 expedition as well from a junk yard and i assumed the the braket for the back of the seat to hook onto was just part of the vehicle so i made my own brakets and welded it into my excursion. Litteraly two days ago and im just now seeing this
Those are actually from an Expedition (a 2010 I think). They are the factory mount plates for the Expedition seats. They just unbolt from the floor. I got mine from a junkyard.
Part 2 has yet to be completed. Excursions being as big as they are, don't fit in my garage. I didn't get to it before winter and now it's consistently dipping below 0 temps. I'll get back on it once springs hits.
@@sbrady116 at this point no. Other projects and moving/house remodeling have kept me away from this one. I'm not sure if it will happen at this point. The Ex keeps developing new issues and they are starting to pile up. If it happens though, I will be sure to do a part 2.
