One of the most deep and thought-provoking podcasts I have ever come across. We need more of these to awaken our youth to the relevance of the true depiction of the essence of Islam.
Ahmed, long time back when I was hosting a t.v show I said this to one of my guests, who made a silly comment on Meera, that it's high time we let her be. It's a shame to see people still mocking and cracking jokes at her expense. It was jaded then, it's more jaded now! Besides, please do not forget no one is perfect! Other than that, I have been following your show, really enjoyed them and left comments, but just hearing Meera's name in a mocking way, as you did, was in bad taste. Good or bad, she has worked really hard just like any other actor in the film industry. It seems she strives to fit in with the crowd and in doing so she fumbles and falters and perhaps is quite aware that she is the "Butt" of the jokes, no pun intended, for years and yet you still see her smiling always! I think that is commendable...wouldn't you agree? Hope you'll be mindful of this and be respectful to everyone, not just "Meera ji"! :)
