Undoubtedly, sister Sanam Javaid has proved to be a brave, credible and outspoken daughter of Pakistan firmly standing for justice, equality, freedom of speech and against corrupt politicians and, their like minded facilitators. The nation is proud of such brave brothers, sisters, journalists and youths, who are gems of our society.
**Salute to Sanam Javaid** Men in Pakistan are scared to come out on the roads because they are coward-paralyzed by fear and complacency-this young girl Sanam Javaid rises as symbol of courage. She takes to the streets to protest and goes to jail, defying the oppressive forces that men dare not confront. Sanam Javaid has the spirit of the iron ladies, mothers, sisters, and daughters who have historically been the backbone of our fight for independence. It is through courageous individuals like Sanam Javaid that our country persists, despite the cruelty of rulers and cowardice of our men. I would love to see roads named after her, schools of her name. Her pictures on display instead of shallow politicians in public places to inspire the sleeping men of Pakistan who only love food, entertainment and just talk with no actions.
