Star Wars music hits scenes unlike anything I've seen. So many channels turned off the music for the level and it doesn't even carry nearly as much of an impact as it does WITH music
too bad it just plays like background music. if you were a kid who had never seen RotS, yu'd quickly wonder why the hell that (epic score from Williams) music was so low and in the background.
This is, in my opinion the best order 66 scene. It shows the strength and power of the jedi... but at the same time it shows how easily they can be overpowered by numbers. No other order 66 scene has managed to capture both successfully
*@Ren Cen ~* Another fun bit... Master Jaro Tapal is voiced by veteran voice-actor *Travis Willingham,* who has voiced the cartoon version of Marvel's Thor for many years. ;)
RakaZet - Black Squad hah is that the best you got pea brain? Ohh how scathing shit eater come back when you have something more than 3 of your last remaining braincells can muster ;)
The same music during order 66 while playing this game was so chilling and nostalgic. Jaro Tapal’s lasts words of advice gave me even more chills, “trust only in the force…”. What a well done order 66 scene made into a game.
Everyone feels for the Jedi, but I feel more for the Clones. They respected and trusted the Jedi, only to be forced into betraying them. They have to be viewed and die as the enemy for doing a horrible thing that was beyond their control
Hasan Ahmed some clone units didn’t need the chips as some hated the Jedi they served under for just putting them in near suicide missions and would have executed order66 even without the chips to me the chips were just to make sure they all went through with it
depends on the lore. Old Battlefront's campaign from clones' perspective had this idea that clones knew all along about what they would have to do in the end. This is also cruel, both to Jedi and to clones.
@@sorcererberoll4641 the chips were introduced in the lore only after Clone Wars TV show. Everybody loved the clones and show runners decided that it would be too dark to stick to the old lore, to have these good characters to turn against the Jedi willingly.
It is ironic how the Jedi seemed so op during the clone wars them when a few clones start fighting them they suddenly don’t know what to do and they can’t even block
At one point the clone were the Jedi’s most trusted allies (even friends and comrades). But when Order 66 was initiated, not only were they holding back against their own troops, the Force was thrown out of balance.
@@pracitus Well imagine, you're the commander of hundreds, if not thousands, of your troops. You trust them with your life. Then all of a sudden, they turn on you. It caught the Jedi completely by surprise, and some were straight up outnumbered. Also, the clones know exactly how the Jedi think. It was the perfect set-up.
yeah, it almost looks like they aimed at his lightsaber so he didn't even need to break the regular walking animation to deflect the blast... looks really awkward
determinator 94 i suppose, but he’s carrying a lightsaber and if you watch the clip he doesn’t even do anything with it until after he head butted the clone
When playing through the game I knew what was about to happen, the second it let me speak to the first clone I knew what was coming and even though I was still in my first few days of playing the game it kind of hit emotionally
If you could change it, what color would you guys put on the clone troopers armor design other than the one displayed? In my opinion they look too close to looking like general Secura and general Kenobi's troopers.
@@neofaro4862 I don't believe so, aside from the different armor color patterning, the 212th battalion is a darker shade of orange and I believe the troopers in this adorn yellow coloring like Commander Blight and Ayla Secura's soldiers.
An interesting game I think would be if you are a custom jedi general (like how you make your character in skyrim, fallout, and swtor) leading a campaign then near the end of the game you have order 66 executed on you
@@cvlcek144 don't "No shit" him. I've literally seen a youtube video where everyone is saying "why does he look like Thanos?" "Is this a discount Thanos?" "They really brought Thanos into Star Wars?" So no, I believe his comment was extremely necessary
I realize he's a Lasat lol but Topal's nose, (or lack thereof,) looks extra weird in this image format. (As opposed to Rebels animation, that is) It's actually quite distracting to look at, I might have to watch this again! 😂
Chosen One what I’m wondering is why he didn’t spin his dual lightsabers like a fan like EVERY OTHER PERSON WITH ONE, not just the inquisitors can friggin do to block the blasters.
Stormtrooper's syndrome is starting to show itself... to miss a wounded Jedi from such a distance... and other times. Can anyone else still say that stormtroopers are bad and clones are good at shooting and this isn't just a plot armour?
The inhibitor chips literally destroy everything that made the clones... individuals. Their training, their experience, their skills, all that is gone. All that's left is muscle memory and the mission: Kill the Jedi at all cost.
Love the game overall but hate the game play mechanics . Electronic Arts really screwed up on the X Box One X implementation. EA tried to imitate the mechanics of Uncharted but failed miserably. I hate that you waste so much time not "making that jump". And in one scene the floor geometry just isn't there !
anyone else having trouble playing this on consoles? I buy it physical on PS4 and it runs horribly with sound out of sync, poor rendering, massive frame rate dropping, cutscenes where characters disappear or appear on T pose, and music constantly sounding choppy or sometimes just fell silent for a good ammount of minutes, at first I thought the disc was defective but then I bought it digital and the problems still persist, now I must point out my PS4 is not pro and it's like second generation, but this is the first game I have this many problems, I also have dead stranding and that one runs smoothly, then I saw news that there were problems with console ports but none seem to be to the degree as the ones I've experienced, so I'm baffled.
You know, while the general scenery and screenplay here are fine enough, the fact that the clones are always disposable useless husks is getting a bit irritating. Aka, imagine how much more vivid a memory of the betrayal would have been if the clones were depicted as properly trained, fought properly and tried to best the jedi, not just stand infront of him like dolls and shoot.
As good as this game is, this moment seems so clunky. Like, the trooper is standing RIGHT BEHIND HIM GETTING HIS ORDERS!! It just kind of bothers me. There's no subtly, but they play it off as if he is just sensing it in that moment. Like oh what a surprise, considering he's right behind you holding a com link of the emperor telling him to kill you. The game is good, but clunky at times. Thats all I've to say.
Yeah but they don’t know what Order 66 means. Also what he’s sensing is all of the other Jedi who are dying as his clone is getting the order. I don’t think everyone single commander simultaneously got Order 66 but rather in waves.
@@Daredayo713 I know he's sensing all of the order, but it just seems to happen out of the blue with no build-up. Plus, the clone doesn't even walk away to hide his intentions.
@@neofaro4862 Ok, but that doesnt explain why every clone in revenge of the sith were doing it secretly. The point is this scene doesn't feel natural at all.
He was probably one of the few Jedi who read the list of the Contingency Orders. Also, the whole concept of the chips is stupid. It was better with the clones following orders instead of the brain chip thing. The brain chips is just stupid with trying to make it seem like the Clones are now kinda free from blame with having no choice in the matter. The Novelization of Episode 3 supports the Contingency orders over the chips since Commander Cody says to himself that he wished the order would have come through before he gave Obi-Wan his lightsaber.
I just can’t get over of how’s this situation absurd is! Only a second ago clones were speaking so nice to the MC and a moment after they were like. “It’s padavan! Kill him!”’ Can’t it be that all these feelings they had toward him were fake? And all they were playing like this since a begging?!!!
It's a neural chip, I'm not sure if you've seen the Clone Wars show, but sadly due to the chip, they have no choice, kind of like how a red dot "can" be a kill switch for certain dogs especially if they are trained that way.
The way they felt toward the master and apprentice were not fake. Far from. If u watched the movie and clone wars series then u would know that they were breed to follow orders without question. This being because of a organic ship implemented when they were embryos. Because of that chip. Order 66 was carried out by almost every clone in the republic. Despite how badly the majority of them hated the order. Leaving the Jedi confused as to why their closest friends they served years with would just turn on them.
@@cvlcek144 the chips is such a stupid thing. I prefer the way before the chips with Clones following orders. Read the Republic Commando books. The chips is a failed attempt at taking blame off the clones by making it where they had no choice. But the truth is they followed the Contingency orders as instructed, and the Jedi didn't know about the Contingency orders. If the Jedi had read those orders, they would have been better informed to survive.
@@jedigamer9935 I don't think they're a stupid idea. I think they're an easy cop out, but I do think that they provide a better reasoning, especially since they were introduced in The Clone Wars, a show that had, as a core theme, the idea that the clones were more than organic robots. Part of the tragedy is that, well, they sort of are.
Don’t forget that Besalisk Jedi Master Pong Krell from TCW could use 2 double bladed lightsabers. Jedi CAN use them, but most choose not to given the aggressive nature of the weapon.
Alot of Jedi used those actually. Satele Shan, Bastilla, Shado Vao, Pong Krell, Every Jedi Temple guard had a double bladed lightsaber, and during the clone wars it makes sense to have a weapon that can protect you from both ends.
