I watched this video as a sort of tutorial for decaying winter, I recently started playing solo executioner and found out it's not as easy as it seems in the video (I showed this video to my friend and he instantly changed perks to exe not realizing how hard it is to play seeing how you easily killed a skinner with like 60 bounties xD) and just kinda wanted to say, keep up the good work man
@@afightingcactus4617I both agree and disagree, while yes exe is mainly for meele and you need good parrying skills to actually play it properly, it becomes much easier when you find a 200% range weapon and have roughly 10 bounties the only real threat is artery and gun people
@@RtQluska I haven't checked the exe pros and cons but artery isn't a big problem if you have a bunch of tornequet around and the gun people well if your playing solo just bring engineer gaming and it would be less of a problem than it already is
@@afightingcactus4617 with enough luck and skill you can kill a sickler using throwing knives and a tier 3 melee weapon with only 5-10 bounties, ive done it a ton of times and its so easy.
honestly, buffing Exeuctioner is a pain in the ass. he's kinda like an immolator that can't reduce his overheat, but gains ridiculous melee damage and scrap. make his goggles recharge passively while used, and it's overpowered. make it repair on-kill? overpowered. make it keep bounties when you take it off? over. powered. the main point of Executioner is to preserve your goggles to keep your bounties. any buff that helps with that would be EXTREMELY powerful i say it's "extremely powerful/overpowered" because any half-decent Executioner would be a NIGHTMARE for scavs, without the added risk of going blind and turning into a shitty Berserker with no ability.
I tried soloing executioner recently, my best was night 7 (scav war) after playing like 1-3 weeks I was always watching ur vid to see what to do with this perk, and i kinda get it now. I was still struggling killing SQ tho 💀 I always loved ur vid, keep it up!
Quick question, with the goggles on, why did they only crack for you when at 0% durability? for me when they get below 60 a small crack appears to the right and below 20 a big crack appears on the left. Plus when your goggles got to 0% why didn't it show the black screen telling you to take off your goggles immediately?
I probably got the like the best rng and didn’t have any cracks at all And 0% is the last percentage of the googles, take further dmg anf your screen turns black
RNGesus on its way to make every Executioner run a trainwreck, only spawning your first tier 1 melee on night 3, never spawning a billhook blueprint, and no melee scavs during the looting phase
It’s a fist skin once you have reached level 100 and pledged There should be an option called “quartermaster” where you basically can buy skin for weapons and stuffs, uses a different type of currency which you normally wouldn’t get
Exexutioner main here, i usually run dependable, methodical, and (insert light swing speed trait here i forgor 💀). I go with light swing because after a certain point your bounties make you oneshot things with one light swing so i just bulldoze scavs with fireier axe.
Also because I don't care if no one asked here's my take on weapons for executioner. lameo - speed blend scavs. Billhook - either you're a noob and can't parry or you love bullying scavs who can't fight back. Fireier- I AM BECOME DEATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS. OP m1s just turn scavs into mincemeat. Executioner blade- heavy swing go brrr, not the best weapon but definitely an option if you know how to use it. Decimator- AOE go brrr, haven't used it in a while so I'm not sure if AOE scales off bounties but decimator- is a decent weapon for any Frontline. Maria- almost no one I know uses this but if you like debuffing scavs then go ahead. Reapers scythe- still new so I don't know much about playstyle and stuff, but the dash is sick. Tell me if y'all want more unwarranted opinions.
reapers scythe imo is just a riskier and more expensive firerier that does more damage in exchange of having a tier 2 fracture instead of the firerier's tier 4. you can also drag melee usage like 2 more nights further 'till you start backlining with guns cause you can just bumrush and stun the really annoying gun scavs with the dash
Just to be honest, exe is fine with violent tendencies (light swing), methodical is not neccessary considering you're gonna be getting alot of bounties
@@slayeruncharted587 Both VT and Methodical can be dismissed for better traits as the perk itself already buffs both. (Not to mention that once you get past the point you start 1 shotting on lights your swing speed's relevance becomes trivial) Fearless, Impatient and Professional is what i usually run for solos, though if i'm playing with a team i switch out Fearless for Paranoid as i will not be getting all the aggro in the later waves to neccesitate the firearms damage resistance
Me as prophet: gets decimator, reaper, fire axe, exe bp, estoc and great sword on night 1 "You serious?" (I got it while i had 4 morale, artery, broken arm, and bleeding during that *all of them died on the first night* *pleasure in pain*, yes i'm a masochist)
