Executive MBA taster lecture: So, who's a strategist around here? 

Join Professor Richard Whittington for a taster lecture on strategy, as he starts by discussing the Executive MBA core strategy course and the faculty research that informs both that and the various strategy-related electives that will follow later. He continues by looking at two key themes in his own research, each addressing issues of what it takes to become a ‘strategist’.
The first addresses how you yourselves develop as strategists, including issues of your own self-identity.
The second addresses challenges arising from more inclusive ‘open’ modes of strategising, focusing on how employees can learn to engage constructively in strategic discussions within your organisations.
