The Bahamas Customs Department recently participated in an interview with the Bahamas at Sunrise Morning News Program to shed light on their latest innovation: Exempt, a mobile Declaration app for baggage. During the interview, Custom Officer Jerimiah Taylor and Doyle Burrows provided a comprehensive overview of the app's functionality and announced the official launch date for its mandatory usage.

Hello I am unavailable to insert the length of my stay in the apt. Also I am unable to save my shopping list. I have done it three times and each time it disappears. FRUSTRATED

Hi I can't see the form itself. It only tells me that I need to fill out the C 17 form

The Exempt app serves as a digital replacement to the existing C17 Form used during the customs clearance process when entering the Bahamas. While additional forms may be introduced in the future, the primary objective of the Exempt app at present is to replace the C17 Accompanied Baggage Form. Question- does every item on a long receipt have to be entered individually I.e. a long Walmart receipt….. do we have to list every item or do we list them collectively?
