Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago, The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldn't just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring her back.
I've embraced my darkside, and applied war strategies in my life; my empathy and curiosity are honestly super powers at this point... Thank you Robert.
"You are the source of your own problem".... I wish I could tell that to a particular friend .... I'm grateful for having developed the ability to be grateful, voluntarily
This is so true and I can't refute it. The evidence is everywhere. I see people--of wide-ranging intelligence, skill levels, care, diligence, ETC.--achieving some enormous goals just by being action-oriented and bold.
That's my favorite chapter of my favorite book. After reading it for the first time, I almost cried. Changing your attitude is life changing and what I personally needed to change the most and still need to improve each day. Like Ryan Holiday says in Ego Is The Enemy: “My friend the philosopher and martial artist Daniele Bolelli once gave me a helpful metaphor. He explained that training was like sweeping the floor. Just because we’ve done it once, doesn’t mean the floor is clean forever. Every day the dust comes back. Every day we must sweep.” He's talking about Ego, but I still think it applies to basically anything, including the attitude.
I am currently reading "The 48 Laws of Power " and I love the book . I am fascinated with the insight behind historical events. I really appreciate the time and hard work invested 😁 in the creation of the book.❤
I don't know if you read your comments but I wanted to say thank you so much for the work you do. You have saved me in more ways than you will ever know. I always joke that you are my honorary dad, my advisor and guide. I have read each one of your books (looking forward to the next one) since 10 years+ and I was able to transform my life. BTW I am an African woman (former refugee) who had no one to turn to and your books inspired me and helped me through the worst of situations. I wish you all good things in your life. Thank you again!
I appreciate this outlook, but there is a little to it that has more to it than what is said here. If you fail at a business venture, that's not a "so be it" and that's it sortof outcome. There's serious financial consequences to failing, and it's gonna take more than attitude to recover from that particular failure. It's gonna take a LOT of time AND luck.
I loved everything you said. An adventurous and positive attitude is the best attitude. It is better to try things, even if they don't turn out as you expected, somehow you always get a gain, be it learning, experience, fun, and in the best of cases you get what you are looking for or maybe more. ^^. ... . Besossss Robert 😘😘
Excellent exercise to help move forward and improve my attitude. The old saying was there's always room for improve and change of one attitude. Burning bridges never achieve greatness. Sounds like a book to have handy, Mr Greene.
If I have a hostile attitude towards others it's probably from trusting others who were only out to use me and get as much from me as possible, usually money. Most people cannot be trusted is what I've learned over the years.
Calling out on someone's behaviour is an absolutely perfect strategy to give people a reality check. This starts with simple statements like "I know what you're doing". Statements like "don't talk to me like that" and I won't tolerate this behaviour" are powerful statements because reputation is extremely important to narcissistic individuals. It not only discourages them but also infuriates them. Be careful it can also make them violent like a mad dog. I have implied this strategy mostly as a last resort and I have gotten mixed results. Correct me if I'm wrong
felt this! I genuinely cant imagine what my life would have been without his work. Started reading him at 17! That was 20 years ago.. still reading his work❤
Good Health = Good Attitude Healthy people have a better decision-making process than the sick. The reality gets distorted when we are in survival mode. In good health we respond, in sickness we react. My daily 1st healthy step: Breakfast: Drink a cup of warm spring water for a healthier life. Add a slice of key lime. Detox and replenish.
This video is very confusing and it seems to be singling out one type of person. Anxiety happens in a lot of cases, if not all, from trauma. You can't think away trauma or adjust on will. What about the other types of people that could use changing? the perfectionist, the overly confident/narcissists? Judging someone's way of acting and calling it "attitude" feels like more pressure on some of us to try harder when we have already exhausted ourselved to fit in, and are finally finding ways to lower the stress and the striving. I think it's plenty ok to find our own way of being in the world. Are you anxious? Don't put yourself in situations where you will be triggered. Work on it but also know that you have a way of being (for whatever reasons this happened), and respect it. I can't stand pressure to fit in anymore. Perhaps because I am not older and wiser.
I have always been really interested in the Jungian concept of the shadow and how to integrate that more into your life. I feel often in life we are expected to appear well put together because of this we often are not aware of the deeper parts of ourselves and we ignore it or worse actively try to suppress it. How do we integrate the shadow in a way that allows us to live life well and be a full person living and breathing as we are.
Gratitude does change the attitude, though there are no actual, physical, tactical, change that happens to the actual circumstances we find ourself in. No action, no change.
I have a completely different attitude depending on what I'm looking at. Some of the things I do like "I'll be wet and what" and others "oooh noooooo it's slippery" but I'm most like "find another path to the same place"
In the Laws of Human nature, law 8 talks about attitude types and one of them is the Anxious attitude, why is it that they have an unusual amount of anxiety? I relate with this attitude but i do not know how it formed. Could you give more details on how this attitude forms and why they fear losing control.
I know I spammed this question 😅 In the Laws of Human nature, law 8 talks about attitude types and one of them is the Anxious attitude, why is it that they have an unusual amount of anxiety? I relate with this attitude but i do not know how it formed. Could you give more details on how this attitude forms and why they fear losing control.
What's your opinion on Akira Toriyama? He was a legendary master and he somehow united the world through a fan community yet was aloof in nature... How can we describe his creativity and what lessons can we learn from him❤
I am in same situation in 1 month ago,i am trying to get her back, but she cheated on me. Then i realise doesn't matter, who leave you.only you the source of your happiness and good mindset. Focus on your goal, you will get much better than her. Change your attitude to see the world.
Is it better to take a major loss once to get rid of someone you know is a bully and not good for you once and for all, or should we fight and compromise in which case they'll stick around...??
Robert between these three men which one would you be if you could be one of them and this is just a question , so you’re free to pick none of them if that’s your choice , all three are listed below ? The Man Who’s Always Right The Man Who Always Wins The Man Who Has Everything
Then what type of attitude should we have towards whether or not i should get involved it a relationship with this person... Like how to rationally make a good decision
He talked about this (the best attitude ) in one of his shorts . Where he talks about ultra realism (seeing things as they are not by your own clouds of emotions) it is also in his new book called the daily laws . On the other hand he talks about the power of daily habits
have firm boundaries thats it. you are you. you don't need to change your kind personality just learn the things that triggers you and find where they come from. when u do that u automatically starts to learn more about yourself and your self esteem will automatically grow. Take a paper and write down your limiting beliefs in it and understand their origin i.e., analyse are those beliefs actually yours or other ppls gyaan
@@i_prizz being a soft and kind person makes me realise PPL take you very easy person also I ve seen PPL have this authority kind of personality they are very respected by others also PPL have this a fear which I think its very necessary in this world , otherwise trust me PPL will try to attack you not maybe physically but emotionally, psychologically all you can do with this kind hearted personality is say to others that you can't hurt me or why you saying that this kind of stuff but they will anyway gonna say because they don't have this lil fear which is again necessary this is my own experience do share your thoughts
THE ONE THING ABOUT ME THAT NO ONE WILL HAVE A SAY IN THE MATTER' IS THIS, EXPERIENCE SHAPED MY PERSONA' SOME MIGHT CALL AN ATTITUDE, I CALL IT SELF ESTEEM ' IT'S NOT AGGRESSIVE, IT'S ASSERTIVE!!!! I WILL NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO MAKE ME A SMILING, STEP--AND--FETCH--IT SUBSERVIENT!!! THAT'S WHAT REALLY BEING ITERATED!!! " DO HE REALIZE THAT HE'S A BLACK GUY,??? YES I DO, ONE WHO KNOW'S EXACTLY WHERE HE STAND'S, ONE WHO'S A BIT ARROGANT, NOT TO A POINT OF BEING OBNOXIOUS, BUT TO A POINT THAT OF AMERICANS WITH HARVARD EDUCATION AND ONE'S THAT HAS EXPERIENCE HAVING MOST OF WHAT THEY DESIRED IN THEIR LIFE TIME!!! SO DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HAVING THAT DISCUSSION WITH ME!!! I'M NOT OPEN TO THAT!!! PERIOD!!! I DIDN'T GO TO HARVARD, THOUGH EQUIVALENT PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS!!! AND WORKED FROM 14 UNTO RETIREMENT!!! THERE WERE ENTERVALES PERIODICALLY, WERE I WAS OUT OF WORK, BUT NOT LONG! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸📚🙏🍷🙏🍷👀👀🙏😎
As a person of faith called to do a mission by GOD I am not at all in control of my own life. Have you written anything on Faith? I would have many of your points more meaningful 20 years ago when I was still in control of my life. But I gave that all up to follow an idea that is bigger than my life. I made a choice to follow GOD's decisions and I have no way to back out of that decision now. You speak a lot about what other people think and believe about an individual and how they can deal with that. But with a person like me other people's opinions are meaningless. The only opinion I worry about is GOD's opinion. The only choice I worry about is GOD's choice. These words must sound completely foreign to you.
