AB, as a retired police lieutenant in the US, I was very distressed by the female officers behavior. I was so disappointed in her behavior that I submitted a complaint to the Metropolitan Police and referred to your video and my observations. The complaint states I should receive a response in 28 days. If I receive a response I’ll share it with you. All the best!
Love the way they all stick together even when they breach their own rules and guidelines. Disgraceful organisation they should all be sacked and their pensions donated to help the homeless
If police are having public meltdowns without any provocation, they should get better access to mental health services. She was really struggling and winding herself up.
it took the police 1 hr 20 mins after a drunk teenager threatened to stab me outside my house (i have a police training college 5 mins drives from me),... but a man with a camera is an emergency?
Well that female PC and her colleague just embarrassed themselves and the whole of the UK police force. Since when did our police turn into such a rude, scruffy bunch who think it is ok to talk to members of the public like that ? Shame on them and good for you standing up for yourself AB. Even those 2 Sgt's should be ashamed of themselves as well, they just ignored you when you spoke to them, kept their heads down and hurried away.
As someone who works as a security supervisor on a large development site, its astonishing that these security officers believe they have authority while also lacking common sense regarding our rights....its embarrassing but at least it exposes their crappy companies that employ them. I truly applaud everything you do, more people need to be aware. Thank you.
It is absolute madness that a call about someone photographing a building is treated as an emergency by the police. If the people who called were at home and had been burgled, those cops would have possibly turned up sometime the next week. Their attitude was absolutely disgraceful too and then they stop before a bend forcing the public to drive into oncoming traffic.
