Hey man! I just want to say thanks for uploading this video...It's helped soo many ppl with their own installations and now I finally just installed my two bros exhaust on my 09 CBR600RR and it's all thanks to you man! U should get a medal or something dude!!
Excellent Video! Because of you I purchased the M-2. I will install it today and already began taking it apart. Just wish you had a video on putting it back together. Please let me know when you get the tail light video again. EXCELLENT!
Great video man, true professional installation video right there! I just got an 09 cbr and want to get a two bro exhaust. Thanks for taking the time on video!
Awesome video i never done anything to my bike, i just got the Yoshimura slip on , i wanted to do it myself scrary as f. but with your video i was able to do it thanks again for the great support!
Just a heads up for anyone with questions, Google has changed RU-vid drastically and I don't receive notification of all comments, and unless I am on a specific browser on my home computer, I can not reply to comments or post new ones. I'll get back to you as soon as I can if you have any questions.
It's not too loud in my opinion, but I ride with headphones pretty frequently. They do sell a silencer that drops the sound out quite a bit. It's called the Power Tip.
great video man! i'm trying to get this exact bike by summer or mid summer. and after watching this i really see the difference in Exhausts', definitely going to have to get the Two Bros.
I believe it sits a bit to the right. Some people cut the pipe back a little, and when doing so cut it at an angle to counter the slight off center of the pipe.
The instructions were dope, had some issues putting back everything lol (forgot the order I removed stuff). Took about an hour or so. Sounds bausss though; way safer - people can finally hear me and realize of my presence. Idc if they hate how loud it is, I'd rather live ha.
Purchased the exhaust direct through Two Brothers. Used their build your own pipe function they had at the time. The bracket on the two bros is the one that came with it.
wow. what an awesome video! it's so detailed. thanks for uploading man. will be installing the same exhaust on same bike. so to clarify, no power commander is needed after installing this exhaust right? and do you recommend the devil exhaust for this bike? saw a cbr video with devil and like the way it looks and sounds. but they say two bros. exhaust is a better fit for hondas. pls let me know. thanks!
@killakali408650 Yes, I put it back on because I thought it looked better. Many people keep it off. The heat seemed fine when I had it off, but I liked the silver mid-pipe to be hidden. I chose two bros because I only had money for a slip-on and had good experience with my two bros on my VFR. At some point I hope to get a full Akrapovic Exhaust, but for now I have to wait. If Akra wants to give me an exhaust to do an install video for them, I would gladly do it though :)
Very nice demo. Thanks! Quick question: With the after market exhaust, can you still keep the brake light and signal housing? The aftermarket piece seems really big to fit into that housing. THANKS again!
@Artist5421578 Power commander is not necessary, but that is where you will see a significant performance gain combined with the exhaust. If your main goal is a very minor performance gain, but more of an asthetic/sound upgrade then that isn't needed. I enjoy my two bros exhaust but it is a little long for some people's tastes (most are). I have never messed with devil so I can't say either way.
Awesome detailed video tutorial my friend. However, you should include the words "two brothers tutorial" in the video title so you'll get a lot more hits on the video. Another thing; how is the sound while riding? Are ear-plugs necessary? I'm worried if the sound is TOO loud, since I've seen some people saying it is very loud... Thanks, and have a great day.
Ace video m8 well done. I wish more ppl would make these. And btw two bothers should pay you for this as it will increase sales....thats if ur not working for them. Exellent anyhow..mght buy mine soon :D
@MayurDirector Yes, you can keep the stock tail light and signal bracket on. That is how I kept mine until I installed an integrated tail light. I have a new video with the new tail light coming if you are in need of one.
@Artist5421578 A very popular one is the Akrapovic hex exhaust, but it is pretty expensive and a totally different look closer to the stock shape. It's all personal preference really. Two bros is louder than akra as well.
@Adam512rr Sorry for the delay. I got mine through the twobros.com website and put it together on their custom shop. It's the Tony carbajal badge that has the skull on it.
Hey Stealth, the chrome pipe came in the box with the pipe? I mean, that's a part include it with the exhaust? Or u need to buy separate? Because I got the same bike and I want to install the same pipe.
Isn't the stock exhaust attached to a servo motor. Did you remove that? I have a 2005 zx-6r and it has a servo motor attached to it. Needed help removing it. THANKS
Hey whatsup stealthscrape.. This is a great video and it helped me with alot of things but I had one question and was wondering if you can help me out.. I installed my two brothers exhaust but now the bike doesn't wanna start. I've ran through all the wires and checked the fuses and even tried to jump start the battery with a car and a bike... The bike sounds like it wants to turn on but something isn't letting it
hmm dow you put the exhaust shield on near the legs after the install?? and why pick two bros?? wish you had one on a full exhaust install though thats something I would like to watch
@JaimeRojas04 Sorry for the delay getting back. I didn't see this comment. I am not sure what would be going on there. There is nothing I can think of involving the exhaust install that would cause this except for maybe something in the pipe or maybe bad spark plugs. Did you ever get this figured out?
@yayo23g, everything you see that I installed came with the pipe I bought. I suggest contacting the retailer you purchased it from and asking them about it. I do not know how else to go about getting it. I'm traveling and on my phone so it won't allow me to message you directly.
Quick question. What size wrench did you use to take the bolt of by the rear brake reservoir? I tried a 9 it's to big and and 8 is to small? Please contact me back or inbox me plz/thx. Videos is awesome I mimicked everything but ran to a stop with the wrench size :(
jxroc85, I honestly don't remember what the size was. My bike is in storage right now so I can't check for you, but if anyone else can help that would be great. Sorry I don't have it for you. On top of that, if anyone has all of the sizes required for all of the bolts, I can add them to the description.
@stealthscrape Hey I got another question, after i install the new exhaust, the bike getting hot? I mean the temp is getting hotter? More that 225 degrees? Because I install on mine CBR1000RR but the temp is going up.
I don't remember mine coming with any heat shield foil, but it was at least 5 years ago when I got it. I did not reinstall the heat shield or add any additional heat shielding or foil tape. I haven't had any issues with heat while riding without any sort of heat protection.
I'm honestly not sure. I made this video just to help people and have no affiliation to Two Bros (unless they want to pay me to make more, wink wink, two bros...). Best bet would be to contact them or just check out their website Twobros.com
I did not put the heat shield back under the tail and I didn't do any sort of heat shielding. Underneath. Doesn't affect anything at all. I did still use the heat shield where the midpipe is. I don't remember how warm it got but I mostly did it for aesthetics.
hey there i recently bought a 2 bros exhaust and it didnt come with that ne pipe. it just came with the exhaust. where did you get yours? please het back to me asap. just message me or something
Do you know how to uninstall the "inside thingy" in the stock exhaust? I can't see any bolt holding that inside part and don't want to use force to get it out, because i don't want to break something. I want to see if the sound will get better or not. Thanks in advance
Hey, I'm not quite sure what you are talking about. Is the specific part shown in my video? The only thing I can think of that you may be talking about is the flap inside of the exhaust that opens and closes at certain RPMs that they added on the 2009 model. I never messed with that because the 08 didn't have it, but let me know if it's something else and I might be at to help you out.
Ye dbkiller it is. I've been told it's welded from the inside and the only way to remove it is to cut the exhaust in half, remove it and weld the exhaust together. I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want to have that extra few dB more ;p
My plate is located under the white cloth in this video clip. It is lit by LEDs that are in my rear fender that goes over the tire. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SoX8QTBf-RA.htmlm1s
That is incorrect. It doesn't do as much as a full system but it does do something. There have been numerous tests and dynos done that show the difference.
+stealthscrape until yku dyno it yourself you won't know , its a marketing scam , we tested it and it does nothing but make more noise lol , get a full system and you'll save money in the long run , i have an R6 and cbr600rr also an R1 and 2 ducatis , none of them use slip on exhaust bud
Right, Arrow has a dyno chart on their website, slip on dark line makes 1hp more with just the slip on than it does with full system. Depends on the bike really. After a map change maybe full system does help, but the power difference is unnoticeable.
