Well... I'm on stock exhaust. Have been living with this rattle for a good 5 years or so. Sound is exactly the same! And only now I found a video of someone experiencing the same thing! Gotta check those brackets
I'm running matt black oz formula hlt on my fiST. You see a lot of cars with oz superleggera rims. So i wanted oz for the light weight but be a bit more original. So they were a bit more expensive but i realy love them.
@@CarRambles looks nice! Something you don't see everywhere. My previous rims were jr11, you see them everywhere. Even from other brands that have the exact same design. I didn't like to go to a car meeting anymore just to see 10 people with the same rim as me 😅
@@CarRambles just try to go for a 7,5 inch width and a lower offset. Let's the rim come closer to the outside of the fender, looks way better then standard wheel. I'm running 7,5 and 38 offset.
I’ve got a rattle but only after accelerating at lower rpm. It’s so annoying. I’ve changed the crossover pipe because it was rubbing on the brake pipe but it’s still doing it.
Hi fella, great content. Was hoping for a bit of advice. My bonnet sits lower one side than the other, it's not a massive amount, but visible to me. The black adjustable bonnet bumps aren't helping, and a mate reckons the bonnets has been off at one point. Is it something easily sorted by loosening and adjusting the screws on the bonnet? As far as I can tell, the car is honest, nothing on an advanced hpi check. It was owned by a ford technician, so I think the car was modded and returned to near standard before I bought it, it had a symposer delete and a few mountune pipes on it. Now running a Stage 1 until the world gets better and then I will stage 2 it.
Thank you. You can adjust the bonnet at the part where it connects, easy enough to do, you'll see a bolt/nut, undo it to the point you can pull the bonnet up/down. It has a small amount of adjustment on it :) You can do it I believe :) look for dark ice design bonnet prop video. Pretty sure they show how to adjust the bonnet up and down in that video
Theres also a slightly common issue caused by wind, the bonnet is surprisingly easily bent. I actually just rebend my bonnet today. Get a block of wood and put it under the bonnet where the latch in the centre comes down so it sits raised up, then just gently lean on the side that needs to come down and it'll sort it out
Hi, I’m in the same position, refurb or new wheels 🤔 new wheels have to be bigger or wider or what’s the point, yea? I think the Bola B10 or the similar Fifteen52 Tarmac wheels look awesome on the Fez and are super easy to clean lol. Both come in 7.5” instead of the 7” standard wheel. I found the Tarmacks quoted at 10.3kg and the Bolas at 9.45kg against the standard wheel at 10.2Kg so the Bolas win out again here but I seen an American RU-vidr weigh the Tarmacks and they came out lighter than standards! So if weight is a consideration then some serious home work is required. If anyone has real life measurements of these or any wheels they have please post. Can’t weight to see what you get, good luck 😉
Car Rambles hi ya. I was watching a video on the Living Life Fast RU-vid channel and he reckons that light wheels transformed the way an M3 felt and handled, in a good way. I’ve seen your track day vids and I’m guessing you’ve got the bug lol, so perhaps light wheels is something to consider. Get some advice first though. Me, I think I’d go for looks with weight as a consideration, possibly. Good luck dude 🙂
Yet another shitty Miltek Exhaust, every person I've met with a Miltek never has anything good to say about it. I used to have one but got it removed for a custom one in the end. Fitment, leaks was my constant battle :( Nice video though man!
