Really??!!! What the FCK is he talking about? Sounds like a bunch of disjointed, acid-tripping BLSHT. "Our central challenge was to try to balance what WE'VE done in the past; we borrowed the Mailer estate's book collection and you see them on the set of this film." What exactly does that explain and why was it worth a mention? Complete jibberish. This is NOT ART; it's a privileged dude with a camera + money to blow + an art world too eager to consume the next ?big thing". From an anthropological perspective, it is mindboggling to see this charlatan produce jibberish that consumes and fills in space in the constant void of the "art world."
I first heard of River of Fundament on a list of movies supposedly too disturbing or gross for some people to watch all the way though. Makes me want to see it now!
